How to unlock the Rookie achievement in LOST PLANET 2 - Definitive Guide

Simply clear the game on "Easy" Difficulty

But watch out ! This achievement isn't unlocked if you finish the game on Normal/Hard/Extreme

If it doesn't unlock at the end of Episode 6, check you Area Completion List

Much people forget the 2nd Area in 1-2, it's a hidden area, at the beginning of 1-2-1, there is a hole, hidden by some trees on the right. Finish this hidden area AND the following one to unlock the achievement

I have noticed that i beat the game on easy, but didnt get it unlocked. im assuming its because of this?

I also get this problem. I did finished all the episode! And also get through the secret route but the Easy achievement still unlocked....

Check your stats and check all the area, one by one

If you see an area where "Completed: 0" is written, do it

u have to go in the hidden area in 1-2 and u have to go the normal way to get this mening this is the only lvl u have to do 2 times on each Difficulty.

I just this second finished my second playthrough (on easy - first playthrough was on normal) and once I finished the secret area and finished the mission, bloop, achievement unlocked!

So yes, I can confirm this is still unlockable even if you have beat it on normal first.

By "This achievement isn't unlocked if you finish the game on Normal/Hard/Extreme" , I mean that the difficulty achievements aren't stackable. (As Halo or GeoW for example)

Of course you can unlock it after beating the game on Normal.

The video shows where to find the hidden route in 1-2-1. To finish the game in Easy/Normal/Hard/Extreme, go through this route is a must.

You must complete it on this difficulty; if you complete it on a higher difficulty, you will not get the achievement. You also need to go through a secret chapter, which can be accessed at the beginning of chapters 1-2 through the passage in the mountain, to the right of the beginning of the level. It must be completed on every difficulty. See below for the location of the secret chapter.
