To get it, you have to reach the top of Shackleton’s Peak area, known as the Summit, and from there, you have to backtrack your steps through the tunnel you have used to reach the top at the beginning of the game.
Continue to descend and before reaching the first cave, turn left and drop down on the ledge below you. Now, you should see a point on which you can attach your magnetic hook. Continue to advance and you will enter a caver where you will find Diaz and her Audio Log.

Travel to Shackleton’s Peak and dock your rig, go up the stairs, push the button, and ride the lift to the top. Use the elevator down, head west and head back down the mountain. Going down a few flights of stairs, drop/grapple down, head around and grapple down another ledge (if you’ve left the snowy ground and entered a black-ish cave you’ve gone too far). Grapple again and then you’ll see the magnetic grappling point. Continue forward and enter the cave to discover her fate.

This is NOT a story related trophy but nonetheless it is a hidden trophy.
Near the summit of Shackleton's Peak is a hidden area which contains a dead body with an audio log next to it. The log will document how the Lost Contractor was surrounded by Akrid and was soon to meet his fate. You will need the magnetic hook in order to access this area, the magnetic hook is given to you in a main story mission so you have to wait for a while before going for this trophy. Simply pick up the log next to the contractor's dead body to get this trophy.
