OK to some this is a HARD achievement, but If you are decent enough to play one skin for awhile. You CAN get this achievement playing ONE skin on Endless Laps. Just load up your favorite skin and go to town.......OR if you want to get this legit, just pick your favorite slow skins (10 of them) and practice, practice, practice.

I tried doing this and it didn't work for me. I ended up getting it in one lap using all but two of the skins (forgot which ones) but I'm decent at the game and I barely got it. 280k+ was what I got after geting 246k TWICE.

Did you let yourself Game Over after getting the 250k? I think you have to.

This is a very difficult achievement to get legit. I'm not sure if it was just me, but the endless laps trick did not work for me.
In order to do this you will need to get large combos for a lot of points, and to do that you have to be pretty good at the game. When I got the achievement I probably got 12+ blocks cleared countless times.
With the skins I chose I only had about 14 minutes to get this.
I suggest you go for the half million achievement, and the time trial achievements before going for this as it will get you ready for what you need to do.
Half Million will get you familiar with the game and the time trials will get you the speed you will need.
If you try the endless laps trick and it doesn't work, don't give up hope, it is possible but it isn't easy so keep trying. I got 246k TWICE and 238k once before I finally got the achievement for 280k.
Keep in mind that you get a 10,000 point bonus for all clear, and a 1,000 point bonus for single color. Try for these bonuses whenever you can. And you can keep restarting to get a solid color block first for a 10,000 point headstart.

I agree almost 100% with the solutions above. 1st you find a skin that you like, that YOU like, that you can stand to sit on and play up to 250K before stacking to the ceiling and losing the game on purpose.
Here is a trick though, aside from one skin on endless laps, you want to clear the board of one and all colors as much as possible. You can usually even get lucky and get single color blocks starting out, drop it in front of the timeline, and as long as you drop nothing else before it is erased and you clear the board, instant 10K each time you do that. Easy to get almost 100K in the 1st 2 minutes if you are careful and you time the block placements with the timeline passage. You also get 1K each time you get the board down to 1/2 color types only. That is very easy to do over and over again, makes this achievement much easier and faster.
If you get a crappy start up, just lose on purpose and try your luck again, well worth the extra 5 minutes to try and boost those odds of getting bonus points.
