How to unlock the Looked Everywhere achievement in Mad Max - Definitive Guide
I just unlocked this one by accident today. What I think I did was while I was running, I tried to pick up the gas can and another glitch occurred where Max assumes the gas can is empty when it isn't. He usually kicks it and says "empty" but he glitched through the wall instead.
If you can figure out exactly how this works, you have my permission to make another video with instructions but be sure to give me credit.
There are 191 locations. If you're at 190 and nothing is showing elsewhere, you may be missing a location in the start area near Chumbucket's place. It's on the far left of the area under a trapdoor that needs the harpoon to open, and it doesn't show on the map unless you're almost on top of it.
There are a total of 227 scavenging locations across the entire map that need to be looted to unlock this achievement. Scavenging locations are indicated on your map by yellow diamonds. You'll get a large amount of them marked on your map automatically as you drive near them while doing story missions and wasteland missions, as well as various other tasks. In order to get all scavenging locations displayed on your map, you'll need to complete the Survey Crew project at each of the four strongholds. Completing that project in a stronghold will mark all scavenging locations in that territory.
Two things to note about this.
- The Dunes region off to the east is marked with all scavenging locations when you complete the Survey Crew project in Deep Friah's stronghold.
- The starting region in the south (Chum's territory) has no way to mark scavenging locations. There is one scavenging location on the western end of this territory that will only show up on your map if you drive near it. Be sure not to overlook it.
To loot a scavenging location, as stated in the achievement description, you're required to complete all optional objectives viewed by pressing and holding while in the location. When done, you'll get the "Location 100%" looted" message on screen to indicate you're done with that location. This typically consists of finding all scrap, and then sometimes a history relic, a project part, and/or a scrap pallet. Scavenging locations are usually very small, making them easy to find everything in them. The Dunes region is the main problematic area, as many of the scavenging locations are underground and in the dark. Just be thorough and check all walls and rooms and you should have no problems completing all locations.
There are 220 Scavenging Locations in all map but you only need 191 of them to unlock the Reaper Of the Harvest Challenge in order to complete Looked Everywhere Trophy/Achievement.

GLITCHED
Due to the myriad of glitches associated with Scrap containers, this trophy can be very glitchy so save often and make lots of backups.
This will more than likely be the last trophy you unlock and one of the most time consuming. There are a total of 227 Scavenging locations found during free-roam in the Wasteland, as well as during Story missions and Wasteland missions. These locations almost always contain Scrap and usually a History Relic as well, while a much smaller number also include Project parts. Whenever you are in a location where scrap or other collectible items can be found, be sure to use to ensure that you have collected everything.
You can return to the airport by driving along the same path through the basements. Having left for the large hall (dutyfry), you need to go towards the place of gain. There will be a fork next to this place and you need to turn right and go into the basement (where there was a fight with the half-boss and where we took the locals’ car). At the dead end there is a passage to all three dig sites (and the scrap). and if you follow one of the trails, you can come out to a large pile of sand, by climbing it you can get inside the airport, there, having climbed a whole bunch of stairs, you can climb up, where there are 3 more crowbars
