How to unlock the Wasteland Chef achievement in Mad Max - Definitive Guide

After you complete the first chapter you will be exploring Jeet's Territory. At the southern edge of the Fuel Veins region there is a Scavenging Location in the hold of a ruined half boat. Inside the boat next to the only pile of scrap is a rotting corpse filled with maggots, simply hold A next to it to trigger the eating of maggots and an easy 3 GS is yours! Attached are pictures of the location on the map and it on foot.

The first time I found maggots it was in the second act after Jeet had sent me out on a mission. Short video attached showing the location.

Throughout the game you will come across bodies that are playing host to large groups of maggots. These are indicated with a yellow fork icon above them and can be used as a food source to replenish Max's health when he is injured. The first time you partake of a "tasty" maggot treat, the trophy will unlock.

Throughout the game, you'll see a yellow fork icon above food, which can either be a can of dog food or a corpse with maggots in it. The maggots aren't common out in the wasteland, but you will unavoidably come across multiple corpses with maggots as you clear out camps and go through other indoor areas. The only catch is that you can't eat maggots (or any type of food) if you have full health, so it's best to leave a sliver of lost health if you use your canteen to fill your health. That way, you'll be able to eat maggots when you come across them.

Maggots should be looked for in corpses that have long since begun to decompose
You can find it on the right edge of the map, approximately at the bottom, in the “Colossus” area, at the Ball mark, as you approach this point, the corpse will be on a small ledge on the right, if you look at the ball!!!
You can also meet it on a simple road and you don’t have to run to the ball, but I met it, and the worm disappeared with the corpse ;( In any case, get it!

They are everywhere, you will get them as you play. There is no need to specifically look for them.

For the game test you will need to eat 15 servings (for this trophy - only one). So it is advisable not to miss this “pleasure” even after the trophy. And they restore health quite well.
