How to unlock the Four Sacks in One Game achievement in Madden NFL 06 - Definitive Guide
A sack is obtained when the person in the quarterback gets tackled whilst holding the ball and whilst also behind where the ball initially started in the middle of the round.
The quarterback is the player who stands behind the main defence row of players and is generally the first person the ball is passed to at the beginning of the match.
You can adjust all of the AI and Game sliders to the bottom, so that the referee is super lax about everything and so that you can literally run your controlled player over to the be literally right next to the opposing teams Quarterback. That way as soon as the round starts and the ball gets passed to him, you can just press X to tackle them straight away. Just make sure that when running over to him you do not touch any of the opposing teams players, and the ref will do you for that.
Do this four times (I don't think it has to be the same player, but I did it just in case) and you'll get the achievement. Very easy when you know how.
A sack is when you tackle the quarterback behind the line of scrimmage (where the ball starts). What I suggest is having four defensive players on the line (Use the 4-3 in the playbook for this. This means 4 defensive linemen and 3 linebackers).
Now, you must run some type of blitz play. Take control of a player that isn't on the defensive line and wait near a defensive lineman (a person on the line between the offense and defense). As soon as the ball is in play, your defensive lineman should cover some players. Use your controlled player to weave through and tackle the quarterback.
To make it easier, shift your defensive line to the side where you're controlling the player. By shifting it, you'll have one side covered more giving your controlled player an easier time to make the sack.
A 3-4 defense (3 defensive linemen and 4 linebackers) will also work but maybe a little more advanced to achieve sacks. It is a good idea to mix up your plays though.
