To unlock this Achievement, you need to record seven (7) sacks with the same player in a game.

You can accomplish this more easily by setting a long quarter length and adjusting sliders to boost your defensive abilities and decreasing the CPU sliders on offense.

Alternately, you can "cheat" the Achievement by setting the offsides slider all the way to zero and positioning one of your defensive players next to the opposing quarterback before the snap. Make sure you don't touch any other offensive players before the snap or you will be called on the offside. Careful because if you are too close to the quarterback, he may make contact with you if he calls an audible from the line.

You need to complete the game before the Achievement will unlock. Most Madden Achievements also require that you play at Pro difficulty or higher, Rookie will not cut it. I assume that this one will have the same condition, though I have yet to confirm it.

This achievement, as well as around 30 others, can all be unlocked while simming through 30 Years of Franchise. The description I made for that achievement is below. Good luck. :)

Before going into the franchise, select all 32 teams. Now, you can just sim through all 30 years like everyone else suggest, while picking up about 60% of the achievements for season and game records (NOT the SS ones!! Those must be completed in Superstar Mode!)

But if you want to get MORE achievements in one run of the 30 year franchise...

Hit B, go to Team Info, then go to Depth Chart. In here, you can mess around with the amount of passing and running offense/defense the teams play... If you go to each one, alternating one to be 100 and another to be 0 for offense, then go back through and make it opposite for defense (so a team with 100% passing offense would have 100% running defense).

What this will do is REALLY make the achievements fly! I got about 95% of the achievements for game and season records in the first 7 years of play... I was only missing Season records for Interceptions and Sacks by the end of it!

If you're having trouble getting this through simming, you can always just do it the old fashioned way. ;)

You need a total of 8 sacks with the same player in a single franchise game to break the record.

I HIGHLY reccomend that you turn offsides off (via GAMEPLAY SETTINGS >> GAME RULES) so that you can get one defensive player right next to the Quarterback and tackle him instantly after the hike. Make sure you're using the same defensive player, and to keep checking the Game Stats to see how many sacks you have.

Another way you could try for this if your having trouble getting this yourself: Start the Franchise with every team selected. Choose a random game and pick either team. As soon as the game starts, run passing plays and get sacked EVERY TIME. Then you can only hope that at least one of the defensemen get enough sacks to get the achievement for you, since you own that team as well. ;)
