How to unlock the SS Season - 10 Receiving TDs achievement in Madden NFL 07 - Definitive Guide
For this achievement, create a Superstar and play through a career season to unlock the record. 10 receiving TD's took me about 2 years playing as a Wide Receiver (WR). Keep shuffling through the player options until you get to this choice, then simply sim through the career. The first year, he might only be an 86-87 in skill level, but there is a strong chance you can get it this first year. The second year he was a 98, and he got this at the end, clearing the record by about 5 TD's.

I found the easiest way to get this achievement is to create a decent guy, roughly 87-90 I made a 88 and just sim, but you also want to get on a team with a good QB. I was drafted by the Packers but Brett retired and Aaron Rodgers left leaveing me with a 72 over QB so I requested a trade and landed on the cardinals. I dont know what it is with the game, but it just seems like every year you get better stats. After my 5th season I got 12 TDs and unlocke dthe achievement. This also applys to the career (60 TDs)
Start up a superstar mode. Shuffle players until you get a WR WITH a Pro Bowl WR Dad. This way you have plenty of potential. Now sim through the seasons, and you should get a 10 TD season between your 2nd-4th seasons assuming you don't get injured. You do not need the IQ test nor does it matter who you get drafted by. You also don't need to play a single game this will all be done through simulation. Also, to check your progress, go to the menu screen and under Player Info go to Individual Stats and select the Receiving option to view your player.
Side note for simming-
You are best off pressing RT and going to the last possible date and then start simming, and not doing it day by day as that way will take forever!

I made my father HALL OF FAME WR and was a WR, and my mother an engineer and I got it on my first season during my second attempt (my game froze during my first try on my 3rd season.)

You can also use your RB that you used for your 1400 yard ach and your 10,000 yard career. Once you have that check under receiving to see where you stand. My RB has 29 rec touchdowns for his career. I went under depth chart and moved my RB to WR to work on this ach. Sim each game hoping for one TD a game. If not reload each game until you equal 10. Once the season ends the ach will pop.
Follow the above guides but one thing to add is be sure when you are making your superstar make him 6"11" and about 200lbs. I unlocked this cheeve the first year by doing this.
For this one you need a HALL OF FAME WR father. follow the notes below.
I have been doing a lot of checking on this, and the team you get on DOES MATTER. Yes, you should have a PRO BOWL or HALL OF FAME for your chosen position, but you ALSO need to have a high IQ for both your mother and father (over 120 for your father and over 100 for your mother). This will allow you to get the ‘chance’ to be on one of the better teams….
PATHERS, STEELERS, COLT, SEAHAWKS
The reason why this is important, the better team you have, the better chance at making it into the superbowl and pro bowl, and therefore more chance of making more of what you need TD, passing, Sacks, ect.
What I recommend is that you save BEFORE you get drafted. If you don’t get a good team, load your save and repeat until you do.
Most of the time if you have these, you can make your season SS achievement on the first season, and therefore increase your speed at making your career achievement.
Also, a note about simming, use the RT button to go as far into the future as possible.
