How to unlock the SS Season - 30 Pass TDs achievement in Madden NFL 07 - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, create a Superstar and play through a career season to unlock the record. 30 passing TD's took me about 2 years playing as a Quarterback (QB). Keep shuffling through the player options until you get to this choice, then simply sim through the career. For every completed pass that nets a touchdown, you get one passing TD! The first year, he might only be an 85-89 in skill level, but there is a strong chance you can get it this first year. The second year he was a 95, and he got this at the end, clearing the record by about 9 TD's.

Any questions or corrections, just PM me or leave a comment. Thanks!. :)

I think you are leaving something out here. I've tried this (for the third time) this morning and after 6 years of simming a QB I haven't gotten this or the other QB solution you have posted. Should I be doing anything besides simming everything? Should I be looking for specific stats from my "parents" at the creation screen. Do I need to do any of the training manually?

Wow... I can't believe that worked. I post, then a few minutes later finally got this one. It took 7 years of simming though.

It can definitely vary. Maybe I'll change the solution to say 2-8 years or something.

Thanks, Dragon!

I got this one on my 5th year as QB - simming only - did not go thru any of the training.
QB is also well on his way to 200 Pass TDs in his career - most likely in year 9 or 10.

You could always, I dunno, play out the last game on rookie if you have to, no?

same here, Make your father a HALL OF FAME QB. I got mine the first year as well. It helps to have your stat higher at the beginning. Not only that, it will help for the career total as well.

MemesNBeer, did you sim through the post season after getting the 36? I got 34 in my 4th season and it didn't pop for me until I simmed the post season as well.

For this achievement, your superstar has to get 30 passing td's in one season. Aerodynamo's solution is good. Many people said that they got the 30 td's when looking at the stats and achievement didn't unlock, I had the same problem too. Then I figured that you had to get it in 1 season, well the achievement unlocked at week 17. So this goes for all the Superstar achievements. All the high number, example 200 td passes, is accumulative. Also, the best player to use when shuffling players is looking for Hall of Fame Father. This will make your starting stats higher than a normal player has. For each achievement, well the two corresponding achievements takes around 4-6 hours of simming. The achievements will unlock at the off season. So hope my guide helps and happy hunting fellow gamers. Have a nice day/night.

FOr this one you need a HALL OF FAME FATHER QB

I have been doing a lot of checking on this, and the team you get on DOES MATTER. Yes, you should have a PRO BOWL or HALL OF FAME for your chosen position, but you ALSO need to have a high IQ for both your mother and father (over 120 for your father and over 100 for your mother). This will allow you to get the ‘chance’ to be on one of the better teams….

PATHERS, STEELERS, COLT, SEAHAWKS

The reason why this is important, the better team you have, the better chance at making it into the superbowl and pro bowl, and therefore more chance of making more of what you need TD, passing, Sacks, ect.

What I recommend is that you save BEFORE you get drafted. If you don’t get a good team, load your save and repeat until you do.

Most of the time if you have these, you can make your season SS achievement on the first season, and therefore increase your speed at making your career achievement.

Also, a note about simming, use the RT button to go as far into the future as possible.
