How to unlock the Laces Out achievement in Madden NFL 11 - Definitive Guide
Get possesion of the ball run it to the 43 yard line I just ran out of bounds and it didnt affect my kick but getting taken out in the middle I guess makes things slightly easier.
Select Special Teams from the play menu then Field Goal I was at 63 yards when I attempted it.
Lower the kick bar and begin the kick I got mine to about 96% power and was even off a little on the accuracy but it sailed over by about half a foot.
I dont think teams matter as long as you have the Field Goal power and Accuracy up to 100
The problem seemed to be that I always had the weather conditions set to Calm, it would seem it's almost impossible to achieve a 60yd Field Goal in Calm conditions. The solution was to change weather conditions to Windy so you had the wind behind your kicker. Even with only a +3 wind speed behind you, you'll easily make the kick. I've tried this method a number of times and it's always worked.
I hope this helps.
This achievement will unlock immediately following the completion.
Use any team, but edit the kicker’s stats to 99 for kick power and accuracy. Then, in the main menu, go to My Madden > My Settings > Special Teams, use the sliders to max out the kick power and accuracy to 100. It’s best to aim lower than higher, and make sure you are in the middle of the field to make it easier. Press to start the kick, again for full power and then a third time for accuracy.
Achievement unlocks at the end of the play.
You need to get to the opponents 43 yard line to make a minimum 60 yard field goal. The kicker for the Oakland Raiders has one helluva boot on him. He will EASILY make a 60 yard field goal.
When you are lined up to attempt the kick, make sure you aim as low as the pointer will go. Your power level must hit between 98-100 and your accuracy must be in the green. When I attempted it (and I kicked from the 44 yard line, which was a 61 yard field goal for me), I cleared the crossbar by a few yards. So you shouldn't have too many problems.
A 60+ yard Field Goal doesn’t seem like too much, but it is pretty close to the kicking limit of the games kickers. There are two things you can do to help your cause:
- Go to the settings in My Madden and max out the Special Teams sliders.
- Edit your Kicker of choice, and max out his Kicking Accuracy and Power.
Now enter a match. Run the ball until you are just short of your opponent’s 45 yard line. You should be standing on the far edge of the team logo in the centre of the pitch.
From there you should have a 61+ yard Field Goal opportunity. Max out the Power and Accuracy of the kick and the trophy should be yours. Make sure Rewinds are on so that you can have a second go if necessary. The trophy will unlock after you make the kick.
First, go to My Madden settings -> My Settings-> Special Teams
We set the Field Goal Power and Field Goal Accuracy values to 100 each
Then:
1. Select Play Now mode
2. Take the Lions as your home team (or any other team that has an indoor home stadium)
3. We select the Packers as the visiting team (the Packers kicker has a kick power of 99; there are rumors that with one of the patches this parameter has changed downwards, if this is the case, the patch should be removed)
4. Difficulty set to Rookie
5. When we start playing offense, we carry the ball to 43 yards in enemy territory.
6. Select Field goal from the book of techniques
7. Take aim and move the arrow a little lower (at least it worked for me, judging by the video he does above)
8. Click and we hit 100% impact force and the center of the accuracy value.
9. If it doesn’t work out, you can use rewind , if of course you chose her before the match)
