You can earn this offline, btw. Just create a player in career mode and choose to be a first round pick. I did a Balanced QB and my player started off at 82 overall and the 'cheevo popped immediately afterward.
A better alternative is to create a power back HB for the JETS and make him a first rounder, which will get you rated over 90. This solution and all credit goes to Kameo550 as posted here:

Heck I would just erase everything above your Jets suggestion, and leave it at a 3 cheevo solution. This popped immediately for all 3, just as you said it would. Gotta love TA help! Thank you.

Start up an offline (didn't check if it works with online) Connected Career as a power back on the Jets and a high draft pick. He should be 90 overall so you'll get the achievements for 80, 85, and 90 overall without doing anything. Works if you do not have the roster update too. Quick and easy gamerscore.
