How to unlock the Verizon Scoreboard Overload achievement in Madden NFL 13 - Definitive Guide
The above guide is spot on. If you want to be a little more efficient you can pick whatever team you wnat and edit the rosters. What I did was add Aaron Rodgers, Victor Cruz and Rob Gronkowski to the Lions. I then played a game and used Matt Stafford as the "back up" Qb. I threw 6 TD passes and made sure that 1 went to Rob Gronkowski and 1 to Victor Cruz. I also made sure to score 50 points. Unlocking the achievements Gronk spike, Pass the salsa, Matt Flynn arcade, Veizon scoreboard overload. Hope this helps!

Hot damn that's good. I was thinking about doing that before I started any of my games. I would definitely upvote this if I could.

I did this along with
I played with the Giants. I'd suggest choosing the Colts as your opponent. If you're going to pass it, make sure your targets are either Nicks or Cruz as they are two of the best receivers on the team. As you get closer to the endzone you can run it. Don't run too often, or you may find the clock running down and you can't score your 50 points needed.
What you'll need is 8 touchdowns if you go for extra points only afterwards. 7 Touchdowns if you go for two point conversions the entire time. I'd side with going for 8, but it's entirely up to you.
As CAPNSKINNER has reminded me, this unlocks at the end of the game.
Aimlesscandy scored 50+ in a career game and didn't unlock this achievement, so it's safe to assume that this doesn't work in Connected Careers.

Just to add this unlocks at the end of the game not when you reach the 50 points

Right, I should add that. Thanks.

When going for Matt Flynn's Arcade, score an extra touchdown or field goal to score over 50 points in a game. Trophy unlocks after the game.
5 minute quarters should be enough time to score 50 points on lower difficulties. You can raise the quarter length according to how long it takes you to score. It also doesn’t matter how you score; Rushing, Receiving, Defense or Special Teams. Just score 50. You will get this trophy while going for the all the offensive trophies.
Note: This trophy pops at the end of the game.
