How to unlock the Ran the Gauntlet achievement in Madden NFL 15 - Definitive Guide

Tips:
1-Play the Skills Challenges before doing this to get a good knowledge of the plays they will be asking of you.

2-If you do not make it past the second Boss Level with all your lives intact I would just restart until you do.

3-Set difficulty on Rookie.

4-Editing rosters will not work. You can trade player to other teams to form a better team.

5-I played as Seattle and against Oakland.

Boss Level 1:
Hurricane Kicking. Easy. Just make sure when the aiming lines are moving that they are inside both goal posts and you kick at full power.

Boss Level 2:
Entourage Running. Run up the middle without using the sprint button. Once near the end of the field sprint out of the group up the side.

By this point you should still have all of your lives left. If not you may want to restart.

Boss Level 3:
1v4 Running. I ran a sort of "S" shape past the first three guys without using sprint then just used sprint past the last guy up the sideline.

Boss Level 4:
Area Passing.
There is no time limit here and no blitzers so feel free to take your time. BIG tip here is if you complete the pass and it IS NOT in one of the zones you WILL NOT lose a life and will get to retry. So just make sure you are hitting receivers that are open and just pick your throws wisely.

Boss Level 5:
Super Bowl Press Running.
This one was the most troublesome for me but I'll let you know how I beat it on my first try. I ran "J" shaped routes on the field going back slightly each time. So I ran up the left then back around to the right until I lead all of the tacklers towards me. Then I just evaded their tackles in the backfield and that left a wide open area down field for me to run in. This may not work every time but it seemed to be the easiest way to get it for me. The main goal here is to get all of the defenders in a bunch and just run past them all at once.

This will most definitely take you some time. Perfecting the non boss levels will help and having multiple lives when you reach the last boss level will make things much easier. Hope this helps. Please let me know how it works out for you. If you have any tips or additions please comment.

Good luck out there!

Good tips.. and btw you can edit the rosters idk if leveling them to 99 helps at all but you can put better players on teams like i used jets but had peyton manning at QB, Shady McCoy at RB, and Dez Bryant at WR, and Jimmy Graham at TE

Can't even get past the 3rd boss level, lol. This is going to take forever.

Yeah the 3rd one is pretty tough. I didn't use any juke moves or anything until the last guy if I needed too. I just ran an 's' shape past them without even using sprint. You should only use sprint once you see the opening to the endzone the speed past them.

I tried that and just got cornered by the 2nd guy. Going to try using a different team with a better RB.

Oh my lord. I got to level 24. haha crazy level. Seattle against the patriots. didn't make it too far. changing directions too sharply really slows you down.

I've been having a pretty good time hacking at this on and off. But like some here, stuck on level 15. I got caught from behind a couple times as I was slowing up to take last guy. I'll use the tips here and see what I can do.

Only thing I dislike about the mode is occasionally a receiver will flat out drop a ball, or you'll be on other side of field and let a first down to full offense. Seems unlucky and random. Oh and I hate when I have to run an option read lol.

Have to admit, I came back to see if there was an update! Ha. This is a sneaky hard achievement. I've been to level 25 probably 15 times. I fire up gauntlet for a couple rounds every day before playing (like warm up). Figured I'd just get it in due time, but since I haven't l just caved and decided to get it yesterday. NOPE. Over 2 hours before I began regressing from exhaustion/frustration.

It is a fun mode, but got under my skin yesterday. Hurt my madden pride! Turns out I can't just complete this on command. I won't let it get the best of me! LOL. (Stupid paparazzi level 25).

Yeah level 25 is a bit of a pain just because you can't really practice playing it other than playing through the entire Gauntlet.

You NEED a good running back, and you need to lure the defenders towards you which should be back a bit and towards a sideline. So you can run around to the other side.

Good luck man, hang in there. You will get it eventually.

Use Chiefs vs Jags, Jamaal Charles is a threat when comes to bosses.

For anyone still having problems with this, try using cowboys vs. giants. Thanks to the roster updates, demarco murray is a great back and the giants have an awful run defense to help make it easier to clear the boss levels. Tried against the raiders for an hour, didn't get it. Then got it against the giants in three tries

If you're having problems with level 25 I uploaded a video on how I beat it. Did it on my first try to duplicate what I did. I used Miami and went against the Jets and after months of trying to beat it, got to level 33 first time through with these teams.

Video on Level 25:

Avalugg's video helped me. Used PHL vs. JAC. I think the key that helped me is to juke right on the first guy but immediately come back to the left and then juke to the right again on the second guy. By this time all I had to do was have Shady McCoy speed burst up the right side and I was home free. Finally!!!!!
Thanks for posting the video Avalugg...

I was having a lot of problems with the wave 15 boss. For anyone having trouble there, try to do this. Run straight at the first person (without sprinting), then juke to either side. Then tap sprint to get past the 2nd guy. Do the same thing with the 3rd and 4th guy, except hold down sprint after juking the 3rd guy.

just to add to everyone's solutions. Do yourselves a favor and go to the Download Community Files page and search for the gamertag RCM Flash Kick. download his "gauntlet" file and load the roster made in that gauntlet file. Your team will be the Eagles (99 overall) and youll play the Jags (37 overall). It took me one try to get this achievement after i got that roster and loaded it up. Made everything easy as pie. All credit to RCM Flash Kick and xboxachievements.com where i found this file.

Took a few tries but got it after I realized what to do on each level. Also helps when you get a few easy ones thrown in there as well. Thanks for posting this.

This is a really good tip - it took me a few attempts, but felt much easier than using the default rosters. toast

Ok so after about 4-5 hours of doing this i finally got it! I figured out using the cowboys with demarco murray against the outstanding Raiders defense lol.. i found out that if you hold LT and when they get close(boss levels) then hold RT and run around them.. Basically using the whole field from left to right. I would suggest trying to make it to round 15 with all your lives left in order to have a chance for boss round 25.

For boss round 25 all i did was run left really slow waited till 2 guys came to me and ran around them to the right, then for 2 last guys i ran around them to the left and scored on my first try.

If you need any help feel free to ask me! Yes i know this is a pain in the a**! Just be patient it'll come eventually.

The skills trainers are fairly easy to complete if you have ever picked up a madden game before. Simply choose your favorite team, place them up against a bad team like the Jaguars and follow the tutorials. Make sure to set difficulty to Rookie for the easiest time. Just by doing this I only failed to bronze a total of 2 drills on my first attempt. And that is coming from a borderline novice/intermediate player. If you’re really struggling, edit rosters or use the one from the Legacy achievements to make your team super powerful and thus making the challenges easier.

For the Gauntlet, I recommend you unlock all the other Skill Trainer achievements first so you know how to face the challenges. You will encounter “boss” waves, but they are fairly tame except the Super Bowl media day, which should be the last wave. I made it to this challenge with 4 lives left. I got it on my last try. Basically just try to run without sprinting in one direction, and let the enemies head toward you. Then sprint diagonally away from them while avoiding all the press and team mates. After a few attempts you should get this and have all the trainer achievements!

This is the hardest trophy in the game to unlock, but it really isn’t that bad. All the levels except for the Boss levels are very easy, so you only really need to focus on beating the bosses. Bosses show up every five levels. If you find yourself struggling take comfort in the fact the level 25 boss is actually easier than the level 15 boss.

To make things even easier you can use an edited super team play against an edited inferior or a weak team. Also, it will be easier if you play on rookie.

Use the below video as a reference on how to attack the boss levels:
