How to unlock the Vince Lombardi Legacy Award achievement in Madden NFL 15 - Definitive Guide

To get all the legacy related trophies, either edit your own roster, making all the players 99, or you can download a roster (from "Download Community Files, search by my online ID BladeMDP, and the roster is named "Falcons99," with the Falcons being maxed out). Once that is done, either load up your own edited roster or mine that you downloaded. Then do the following:

1. Go to "Connected Franchise."
2. Create Offline.
3. Import Custom Roster.
4. Choose "Coach."
5. Create a coach.
6. Choose "Motivator."
7. Choose whatever team you maxed out or Falcons (if downloaded my roster).
8. Edit your coach and continue (I honestly changed nothing).
9. On the "Career Settings" page, make only ONE CHANGE - Skill Level to "All Madden."
10. Click on Start Career.
11. Click on Start Offline League.
12. Click on Start Season.

An "Autosave" feature is used, so I would immediately go to "League" and "Settings" to create a manual save file.

Now, I am not sure how many seasons at a minimum you can do, but to match Lombardi's numbers (specifically the 5 championships), you need to do 5 seasons. That is what I did.

Simply "Sim" the games/seasons, ensuring you win the Superbowl each year. I am not sure if going undefeated is a necessity, but I made sure I did each year. The first 3 seasons you should not have to sim by game, you should be able to sim by season. What I would do is manually save to my save file before each season began, and then after the regular season was over, just to make sure I made the playoffs and then won the superbowl.

For the 4th and 5th season, you may want to consider simming game-by-game. Manually save before each game. Advance a week - if you win, manually save and keep going. If you do not win, simply exit your career, load it back up, and then try again.

You should get the trophy at the end of the 5th season.

Please message me (through True Trophies or PSN) if you have any questions.

Honestly, it's really the same as in seasons past, but being a new PS player (moved over from xbox world), I just wanted a chance to post a guide LOL!.

Did this method unlock the trophy for you personally? Only reason I ask is Bc I used a 99 overall roster of the 49ers today and won 5 super bowls and went undefeated. Then players started leaving but I was only able to unlock the first 3 legacy trophies. I was also on all madden as well just don't know what I did wrong.

Oh yeah, it unlocked for me. You need to make sure that the ONLY setting you changed was to All-Madden difficulty. If you make any other changes (automatically re-sign free agents, etc.) in the settings, it will not work (meaning you won't get the required legacy score, you will barely accumulate any).

The Following is a guide submitted by Fallout Frank, used with his permission. Original post can be found HERE.

"First off, this is a slightly modified version of In Marshall's method from Madden 25 which I will basically be moving here and updating for use on Madden 15.

1. At the home screen navigate to share and then download community files, from here download my "Seahawks99" roster by either searching for "Seahawks99" or "IIX DBO XII" (note there are other rosters by other people but none where good enough to last beyond 3 seasons, even ones recomended by people on this site, 3 seasons would not give enough time for the final 3 Legacy achievements, so I recommend getting my Seahawks99 roster)
2. After downloading return to the home screen and navigate to customization, from here click manage files and then load roster, making sure to select the Seahawks99 file you just downloaded.
3. Return to the homescreen and navigate to play and then connected franchise.
4. Click create online.
5. Name your team whatever you like.
6. Change roster to custom.
7. Make the league private.
8. Set password to anything.
9. At the begin a career screen select coach.
10. At the next screen select create coach.
11. At the next screen select team builder.
12. Now you select the Seahawks as your team, the top four players shown should all be rated 99 meaning everything is correct up-to now.
13. At the edit coach screen just click accept and Continue.
14. Now, once you get to settings the only things you should change are the difficulty, setting it to All Madden, then you must allow the CPU to sign free agents, re-sign players to contract extensions and develop players, do not change any other settings, simply click start career at the top of the menu.
15. Click start online league.
16. Start the season.
17. Finally click advance week and then click sim 10 years, this process is alot faster than offline so it will only take a couple of minutes to sim the entire 10 years, and every achievement will unlock while it is siming.

Thats all there is to it, it looks long winded but I assure you it takes around 15 minutes to finish the whole process and will earn you 10 achievements and 300."

First download and load the '49ERSALL99' by M-Easy roster. This roster maxes out the attributes of all of the 49ers starters. It works especially well because I maxed out young players and rookies, not only currently older starters. So this roster will have superstars that will make your team go undefeated for the five years you will need to unlock this trophy. This roster also does what the NFL refuses to do and takes away all of the performance enhancing drugs away from the Seahawks, so their roster is very weak and will not pose a threat to you.

Once you have downloaded the 49ERSALL99 roster make sure you load it from the main menu. Go to Customize -> Manage Files -> Load and delete files -> Press once to move over to roster -> Press to select the 49ers roster -> The game will now warn you all progress will be lost, click yes to load.

Now go to the 'Play' tab in the main menu and start an offline connected franchise -> Create offline -> Choose "Import Custom Roster."

Alternatively, you can choose to create an online franchise which will simulate much faster than offline. All the steps are the same but for an online league you must be connected to the internet and you will need to create it online. Enter a league name, choose custom rosters and make sure the league is set to "Private." Now enter a password and you are good to go.

Use "Create Coach" and set him as a "Team Builder." While editing your coach under "offensive styles" and "defensive styles" turn the aggressiveness up to 70%

Choose the 49ers who will have a 98 adjusted overall roster (make sure you confirm the team is Overall 98). To efficiently unlock this trophy make sure you follow these settings:
  • Instant Starter: On
  • Salary Cap: Off
  • Difficulty: All Pro
  • Quarter Length: 7 Minutes
  • Accelerated Clock: On
  • Minimum Play Clock Time: 20
  • Game Speed: Normal
  • Player Progression Frequency: Every four weeks
  • Coach Firing: Off
  • Game Play Tuning: Yes
  • Injuries: Off
  • Pre Existing Injury: Off
  • Trade Deadline: Off
  • Trade Type: Enable All
Don’t worry about Team Settings unless you are going to actually be playing in the game

CPU Settings:
  • Fill Roster: On
  • Re-Sign Players: On
  • Progress Players: On
  • Sign Offseason Free Agents: On
  • Simulate Game Prep Activities: On
Now once you are in the main menu select "advance week" and simulate the season. You should go 16-0 and win the Super Bowl every year, I did. But to be on the safe side you may want to simulate up until the Super Bowl, save and then simulate the big game to make sure you win it. Once you have won five Super Bowls this trophy will unlock. I've test this method twice and have won the Super Bowl after 5 seasons both times so you are safe to choose "simulate 10 years" and stop after the 5th year.
