I got this by using two controllers. I picked Patriots for my team, and Falcons for second controller. Skill level set to Rookie for each team.

Patriots pick play Field Goal Block
Hike the ball and let the defensive linemen rush the QB. When they get close to the QB, press
once on Patriots controller to switch to the player who is going to make the tackle. There should be 2-3 players nearby, and all of them will sack the QB, resulting in 1 assisted tackle.
Repeat 3 more times and this achievement is yours!
Note: As others have stated, it will immediately pop after getting your 4th assisted tackle.

You get credit for an assisted tackle when you're the second player to bring the ballcarrier down. If you play enough games, it's very likely that you'll get this naturally.

This trophy is surprisingly elusive to obtain. I played a dozen or so games without unlocking it. Although, I was easily able to get it once I specifically tried for it. Follow these tips:
Play a Play Now game vs the CPU or second controller.
Change the difficulty to All Pro or All Madden.
Turn down human tackling to fewer than 10 the player skill menu.
Now basically every tackle will need to be assisted. After about a quarter or two you will have unlocked this trophy if you were in on 4 tackles. Remember to press
to switch to a.i. player close to the ball carrier. To make it go faster vs the CPU, try not to score on offense; this will make A.I. run more if they are up in the game.
