How to unlock the Situational Awareness achievement in Madden NFL 18 - Definitive Guide

Very easy to do. Set quarter length to 1 minute and play until the 4th quarter. Then when playing offense or defense scroll down to the bottom of the Play type selection page and select Coaching Adjustment. Fans of the NCAA series will remember these. Change at least one adjustment to Aggressive or Conservative and back out then select a play. Achievement should pop.

I think the achievement is glitches because everytime I make one coaching adjustment to aggressive or conservative, the achievement won't pop.

This wouldn't unlock for me when I was using supersim to get to the 4th quicker. Subsequently, without supersim this popped as you'd expect. The same effect happened when I tried the 17 point comeback one - supersim seemed to be incompatible with it.

However, I haven't tested it so it may just have been dumb luck that this is how it looked for me but perhaps worth a shot if you have difficulties.

It popped for me after exiting the game by clicking finish game.

This is a very simple trophy but also a trophy easy to miss because the game never explains to you how to make an adjustment. It took me 33 games before I figured it out. All you need to do is wait until the 4th quarter. Once the quarter begins go to the very bottom of the play calling screen and select coach adjustments. Enter the menu and change any option for the trophy to unlock. See here for a video Guide: LINK

Just open up the playcalling option and scroll towards the bottom where it says Coaching Adjustments. Move any option over and back out. That's all.
