I’d recommend combining “2nd Rounder” and “Comeback City” together, as they go hand in hand. USe 2 controllers for the below method. If you only have 1, just play against Rookie and download my "49ERSLEGACY" for an OP roster!
I recommend you turn clock acceleration OFF for this achievement to give you more time, but honestly, if you are playing against a 2nd controller 1 min quarters non accelerated should be plenty of time. Aginst the CPU, you'll want to allocate more time.
• 1st Half (Q1 & 2): As Player 1, concede a safety. Punt the ball to Player 2, then Score a touchdown with Player 2, scoring the PAT. This will put Player 1 9-0 down. When Player 1 receives the ball again, concede another safety. Punt the ball to Player 2, then score another touchdown with Player 2. This time, do NOT score a PAT. This will put Player 1 17-0 down. You should still have time to miss 2 field goals (just try them from wherever you are on the field and purposely miss) as Player 1. If not, ensure you do so in the 2nd Half.
• 2nd Half (Q3 & 4): Reverse the above method with Player 1 doing all the scoring. You should be at 17-17. Then made sure you get within field goal range (as close to the end zone as possible) as Player 1 and take a time out with under 10 seconds left in Q4 (I did around 8-9 INCASE my FG got blocked). Score a field goal, and “2nd Rounder” should unlock immediately. Run down the clock and you should also earn “Comeback City”.

I was having a lot of problems with this one as the computer kept calling timeouts as I was trying to run the clock down. I'm sure if I'd planned ahead a bit better on my last drive I could have got it but I did get it to unlock a different way..
Make sure the game is a tie and goes to extra time. In the first period of extra time, get into position to make a field goal and let the clock run down on the 1st quarter to under 10 seconds. Make a field goal. This does not win the game, the CPU does get one more shot at getting the ball back, but for some reason doesn't call any time outs. And the achievement popped instantly even though the game is not actually won.

This was easy and I did it first time. Select Exhibition, 2 mins per quarter, choose 2 player and select teams. Choose player 2 as a rubbish team (bills), and and select a team of your choice. Whenever player 2 team gets the ball select PUNT as their first play and you will get the ball back. Once you receive the ball select field goal and miss deliberately from however many yards it is. Repeat this twice, make sure it is 0-0 and then make a drive into the opposition half. Wait until the clock gets to under 10 secs in the 4th quarter and take a timeout. Kick the field goal and it pops. Boom!

To unlock the 2nd Rounder trophy in Madden NFL 19, you will need to score a game-winning field goal with 10 seconds or under left on the left on the clock after missing 2+ previous field goal or conversions.
The easiest way to do this is to play with two controllers. Play two minute quarters.
During the first half, whenever your second controller (the one not unlocking the trophy) has the ball, select punt and whenever your main controller (the one going for the trophy) has the ball select field goal.
In the second half, you should have easily have missed two field goal attempts already. Make sure your main account has the ball and take your time progressing down the field until you are in field goal range. Run the clock down to under 10 seconds, take a time out to give you a little bit more time and then score the field goal to win the game and unlock the trophy.
