How to unlock the Going to Nationals achievement in Madden NFL 20 - Definitive Guide
This is a missable story achievement in the QB1 mode, You get it for winning the first game. You can quit to the menu and restart as much as you want. Just make sure to not finish the match with a loss as there is no chapter select.

Is this meant to be possible? I beat Madden 19 all the way but I've tried this over 20 times, and I literally cannot beat it. I have no idea what to do. The playbook is awful and the computer ALWAYS knows exactly what you are going to do. I can barely score on them at all. They can barely score on me either but I can't do ANYTHING offensively. Your receivers suck so hard it's silly and your O-Line just gets run through like a hot knife through butter on practically every single play. I'm considering just giving up on the career in Madden 20. I thought the Madden 19 was tough but doable but this is an entirely different level of suck. And I'm not simming at all. I'm playing every down. 19 was a much better game, all around.

This achievement is a missable story-related match, as you can lose this match. However, please note that you CAN super sim through story games this year...what's more, it won't disable the achievements for winning the semi-final and final!
Theoretically, you could sim through the whole thing and hope for the best, but you would need to be prepared to quit pretty sharpish if you were to lose as there is no chapter select.
To make sure you don't lose, my advice would be to sim quarter by quarter, and if you in the lead or tied keep simulating if you're losing then play for a bit.
You can also opt to just play offense/defense if you so wish (I just played offense when we were behind). The AI is incredibly forgiving in the college games. I probably only played 6-7 series between the two games, and scored 4 hail mary TD's.
If all else fails, it only takes around 15-20 minutes to get to the semi final, and around 30 minutes to get to the final.

There are 5 Trophies in Face of The Franchise Mode. This is the 2nd one you get. You only play 2 games in the Story Mode. The trophy is for beating the first game (Semi-Finals).
