How to unlock the QB Camp achievement in Madden NFL 25 - Definitive Guide

This achievement, like the other Skills Trainer achievements, is infuriating. To earn this achievement, you must earn a gold medal in each of the three passing drills: Pass Trajectories, Total Control Passing, and User Catching. Watching the videos is not required for this achievement.

Pass trajectories are fairly straight-forward. You must follow the instructions on-screen and use either a lob pass (tap the appropriate button) or a bullet pass (hold the appropriate button). The tutorial is useful and will run you through how to do it. The actual drill places you in a game-like scenario with two full teams of players. You will always be throwing to the designated receiver (marked with a red line before the snap). The receiver may or may not catch the ball - if you throw it too early or too late, an opponent may intercept the ball, block the receiver, or sack your quarterback. It's generally a good idea to wait until the receiver reaches his final location (the end of the red line). You'll know when this happens as he'll turn around and face the quarterback. You need to get 9/10, or higher, successful passes for gold. If you get more than two failures, press pause and hit "restart." There's no point in finishing the drill.

Total control passing is a bit more frustrating. For this mode, you will need to flick the left stick in a certain direction to change the trajectory of the ball mid-air. It takes some getting used to as the timing is essential. The tutorial, once again, runs you through the basics, but the actual drill places you in a situation with two full teams. For this mode, it is essential that you wait until your receiver is almost at the end of his path (the red line). For example, if the receiver assigned to the "A" button is set to run forward and then turn left, wait until he actually turns left and makes his way across the field before throwing the ball. Throwing the ball too early will almost always result in failure. Once you get a feel for it, you can easily 10/10 this mode. 9/10, or higher, is required for gold.

User catching is a bit tricky, as well. You have to throw the ball to a receiver and - while the ball is in the air - quickly press the "B" button to take control of the receiver you threw to. While in control of the receiver, you have to go to the yellow circle that designates where you threw the ball and hold the "Y" button to catch it. What's tricky about this mode is that the game no longer tells you which receiver to throw to. You have to check each of your receivers and determine which one would best be able to catch the ball. To make this a bit easier on yourself, keep these things in mind:

1. A receiver running to the left or right while being pursued by an opponent can still make a catch, so long as he is in front of his pursuer. A receiver running forward or backward while being pursued by an opponent most likely will not make the catch as the opponent will either intercept the ball or block the receiver.

2. When you're in control of the receiver, you do NOT have to control his path. When you switch to your receiver, he will continue running toward the ball without you pressing anything. If you want, you can let the receiver run to the circle for you and then press and hold "Y" to catch the ball. This will only work if there are no opponents near your receiver. If there are opponents nearby, you will need to adjust the receiver's course so that he is able to jump up and catch the ball before it reaches its intended destination.

3. It's generally a good idea to throw to receivers that are further away from the quarterback. This gives you more time to switch to the receiver after the throw and get ready to press "Y." Make sure that the receiver isn't too far away, however. If the ball takes a long time to reach its receiver, opponents have time to interfere.

4. When your controller begins to vibrate, you're about to be sacked. ALWAYS throw the ball before this happens as being sacked is an automatic failure.

Once again, if you get a feel for this mode, it becomes easier. 8/10, or higher, successes are needed for gold.
