If you were like me and tearing your hair out over trying to shoot out the engines on the plane, some extra searching on the web revealed a big help that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise.
Change the sensitivity of the left & right buttons to 2.0 under options. At that point, the movement will be much closer to the swaying of the plane and it becomes a lot easier to knock them out. Change it back right after, as things will move like molasses if you don't.
But after doing that, got it on my second try.
