How to unlock the Jacked Jumper achievement in Mafia II - Definitive Guide
if you go to the body shop thats right below the diner on the lower south west of the map. drive down the road east (the road if you drove stright out of the body shop) to the water/docks. as you go under the bridge you will see a set of stairs to your right. go up the road to the north to get a good run. worked better for me than the other solutions out there.

here's a video i made, of how i got this achievement. just keep trying, watch your speed and stay on the right side of the jump.
good luck!
info; enter the mission called Greaseball's Arena
location; right side of the map, where the GOING OUT OF BUSINESS mission is taking place.
the car i used, is the fully upgraded version of the delizia grandeamerica that you get on the BET ON THAT mission.

i did this with an unupgraded Shubert Frigate.
A few things to note. You HAVE to let go of the right trigger as soon as you hit the ramp. That's a requirement, not an option, it will not count otherwise. Secondly, the optimum number displayed on your screen when you hit the ramp should be at around 30 to 40 points, that should just allow you to clear the overhead beam, if you go too fast, you hit the overhead beam and well, die and if you go too slow, you don't have enough speed to get to the 200 mark. Lastly, make sure you stay in the middle of the ramp, a bit too much to the left, you hit the pole and a bit too much to the right you hit the wall. Dont worry you will get it, takes skill and time, that's all.

As deutschZuid said: you MUST let go of RT. That's the key!!!!

I may have been lucky, but this popped first time for me after failing repeatedly on all the solutions posted here. Just couldn't get the landing right and that's when I managed to miss the overhead barrier.
First of all, make sure you have at least one grenade in your armament.
Second, start the mission 'Greaseball's Arena' which takes you close to the ramp in the large factory area in North Millville.
Like most others I used the car from the BET ON THAT mission, the Delizia Grandeamerica, which I fully tuned. Not really sure if you need such a good car, but this is what I used.
Once the timer starts drive towards the ramp and you will cross railway tracks. Stop here and you will see a number of trucks. (Trucks dont require to be broken into. Speeds it up a little)
Hotwire and park about three or four of these very close together near to where you stopped your car.
Stand near to your car and throw a grenade at the parked trucks and you will get a Demolition multiplier.
Hop quickly into your car and gun it at the ramp and depending on the multiplier the achievement will pop after a jump of about 50-60 which makes the landing easier to control.
Worked first time for me, just do it before the multiplier runs out.
I have found a similar way to do the 'Driftin' Daddy-O'' achievement which I have posted too.
Hope this helps folks.

Best solution for this. Nice one. I tried the steps for nearly an hour and could never land it to get the points to count. Just as you said upgrade the car and you don't even have to be that far from the ramp. All you need is 50 points because you have the 4x multiplier.

Yeah, this is really the only easy way to do this.

I used the fully upgraded Delizia Grandeamerica at the rail tracks that you go to during the Going Out of Business mission. Before heading to the ramp, I started the Greaseballer's Arena mission. On the way to the ramp is one car parked on the right side of the roadway. I stopped just past the car, chucked a grenade at it and got back into the Delizia and floored it. I hit the ramp at about 90 mph and had 2 bars from my multiplier left. I landed good and the Cheevo popped. I had literally tried the same car and location like 50 times before blowing up the other car first, the multiplier makes all the difference in the world!
I tried to get this achievement many times but then I found this video online who show a bug in Joe's Adventure. With that video I get also the hypersonic achievement. I hope that this video will help you.
I did the jump on the ramp in the large factory area in north millville using a standard shubert frigate. If you wait until the mission greaseballs arena you start right at the top of the straight road heading down to the ramp.I just went flat out down the straight and upon taking off pushed forwards on the left stick you can get 200+ nearly every jump as long as you hit the ramp straight and dont hit anything on the way through. This also took a few jumps to register so if it doesnt pop first go just try again until it does because the achievement doesnt seem to pop if you get points for velocity or drifting upon landing
Same solution BeetleB99 posted. Nobody uploaded a video of his solution so i thought i would!
The Bodyshop i drove out of was located in SAND ISLAND (LOCATED BOTTOM LEFT ON THE MAP)

I got this using the video from D3LTA ARES solution. But instead of the maxed out delizia grandeamerica (which I tried with and failed numerous times), I used a Smith Thunderbolt with the engine upgraded once and nailed it first try. As long as you let off RT as you hit the ramp, you should be fine. I also hit the pole after the jump and died and it still popped. I might have got lucky, but hey i'll take it. Hope this helps for those that haven't been able to get it with the upgraded Delizia.
The problem with this achievement, that I had too, is that you try to jump but after you land, the multiplier changes to "Velocity" instead of "Jump" and no 'chievo for you. I landed numerous times, going over 200 points and it still hasn't popped up, no matter what car I drove. But then I noticed, that the "points" system just adds up your whole combo into one big number.
So if you had, say 40 points in Velocity before you jumped and you landed "239 points" thats 199 points for jumping and 40 points for velocity. You need to go over your Velocity score and top it up with jumping. No matter if you die at the end of the combo. The only thing that matters is if you get your "jumping" score high enough. As soon as I realized that, it popped the very first time I tried that.
Also, no RT after you exit the ramp and preferrably do it on the big ramp at the left side of the bridge as other guys suggested.

hi,
one solution more.
actually - the infinity jump spots doesnt work now
i tried many times different spots and different cars.
Potomac Elysum, Grandeamerica, Shubert Pickup Hot Rod . Smith 34 Hot Rod and some more.
pure cars untuned and tuned up to max level 3 at different jumping locations.
no popup.
then i found another jumping spot. this spot are easy and u can use most regular cars. u needed around 100 mph at the spot where you jumping. at this spot do not hold RT more time!
using Roccos mission in the shadow in Greenfield as start point.

The strategy for this trophy is much the same as it was for the Get Rich or Die Flyin' trophy in the main game. You will have to attempt this while a scored mission is active in order for your jump points to register. Use the Ascot Bailey with Super Charge tuning. Though it isn't as fast as the Delizia, it's much lighter resulting in a better jump. There are three options for large jumps.
- A) Go east across the Grand Upper Bridge, bear left slightly as you come off the bridge and cross the street. There's a steep hill that you'll fly off of and easily clear 200 points.
- B) If you find you have difficulty landing safely without killing yourself, you can also try to use the hill at the end of the tunnel that passes under Highbrook. The tunnel starts in Uptown, just west of the hospital where you get the "Wheels of Evidence" mission. Go North into the tunnel, which will curve to the west. Hit the hill at the end with as much speed as you can muster, and try to land as close to the center of the road as possible to avoid crashing into parked cars.
- C) As a last resort, you can also try the jump in Sand Island. Starting at the Empire Diner, head north at full speed and hit the large wooden ramp at the end of the street. There is no real strategy to landing properly at this location, other than prayer. Depending on your angle and speed, you could come down on a roof, in someone's backyard, or smash into the side of a building. You'll definitely get the points but whether or not you'll keep them is up to fate.

It is easier to take the trophy in this place than on the ramp in the industrial zone (I mean the link given above). We accelerate as quickly as possible and fly as far as possible. Don't worry about landing. Start with the mission "Vehicle Evidence on Wheels"
There is also a glitch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6pb8UJs50E

I spent two hours trying to repeat various videos - the jump simply didn’t count (every time the acceleration multiplier increased). I gave up and went to do the glitch from the Stayer hint - I did it the first time. And at the same time I took the trophy for the speed run during the same fall through the textures.
Save your time and nerves.

I received this trophy during one of the first tasks, specifically the one where you need to destroy 4 cars in a garage in an industrial area in the north of the city. In this industrial zone there are several unloading ramps that are perfect for jumping, and if you follow the path laid out by the navigator, then one of them will be right along the route - you just need to accelerate harder and land as carefully as possible (if the landing is not very successful, you may not be given any trophies).

I got Korobken's hint the first time. I want to add a little. I did it on a pumped-up car from the Potomac Elysium DLC. Start the above mission and go to the springboard described in tip 1, it is located next to the mission. I started between the 2nd and 3rd hatches to the springboard in the middle. It just picks up the right speed.

Constantly crashed when landing, or the game counted not a jump but Dangerous speed. And so with all possible options. Glitch is also very difficult to perform. In the end we managed to do this.
I’ll say right away that the method is not mine, but was dug up on one of the foreign forums. We take the above-mentioned delizia grandeamerica car (it is advisable to pump it up). We start the task Arena of Grease Makers. We're going to the springboard. We stop so that when jumping, the speed is around 70-80 mph (otherwise the Dangerous speed is activated, not the jump). Do a couple of practice jumps. Then on the left, towards the jump, we see parked trucks. We take 3 trucks and park them close to each other. We ourselves stand in position by our car. The task is to shoot a rifle at the gas tank of a truck, which will cause a series of explosions. Thus, our jump count will be multiplied by 3. We shoot, quickly get into the car and use the gas to jump. The main thing is to have time to jump (before the bonus ends) and land. I think the idea is clear. It worked the first time.
