The super ball powerup appears in later levels and creates a large version of the ball that can easily hit bricks and can destroy the red shatter bricks in one hit.
For this achievement, you must activate the super ball and then lose it without hitting any bricks. Since the ball is larger and harder to avoid bricks, I would recommend restarting the stage until the super ball power up is near the outboard of the level. Now, clear out the level as much as you can before activating the powerup. By the time you do activate, the level should be sparse enough for you to easily lose the superball without breaking any bricks.
