around 30 minutes in. Till that point all enemies are "jumpscares" that won't attack you, even without safe mode.

When you’re in the basement going through a narrow passage there will be a cutscene. After that the game teaches you about holding your breath and you can just stand there and do it 50 times if you want. Works in safe mode.
