How to unlock the I Came, I Saw... achievement in Major League Baseball 2K11 - Definitive Guide
You can do this on rookie difficulty with 3 innings. I chose the NL All Star team against Pittsburgh. Just bunt to get quick outs and keep your opponent shut out. Then at the bottom of the 3rd just swing for the fences.
Make sure not to score any other way besides the long ball, and if you mess up just keep playing into extras until you get it.

I did exactly this. First time I had a runner on first, but the second time I had no one on. Players walked off celebrating a 1-0 win, but it didn't pop. Annoying.

I tried your teams and failed the first time... then I picked the AL All-Star Team against Baltimore. And then I got it.

So here's how I got it and I think may be the easiest way to achieve it. I did it while I was boosting online achievements, but I'm sure this method can be done with a second controller.
Since the quickest way to boost was by bunting, I was the home team and bunted in the 9th with the score tied at zero. Since my boosting partner (second controller) let me win, I ended up with an "inside-the-park-homerun". Achievement unlocked after. Hope this helps

Well, not to hard to do, just play a game where you are the home team, then try to keep the game tied into the 9th, then just try to his for power from the 9th inning on. I actually hit my walk-off in my 1st game, in the 13th inning.
I hit my homerun in spring training, in franchise mode, with Adrian Gonzalez...

Just a note you can put this on a 3 inning game and it will still work

Hit a homerun in the 13th in Franchise Mode (no changes to difficulty) and didn't get this to pop. Thinking it might be because I had two runners on. Was annoyed though regardless.

This can be done in a 3 inning game. You must be playing as the home team in the bottom of the last inning and with your batter hit a game winning home-run. Inside the park home-run does count.
