Well, I am very sorry but the 2011 All Star break is over, thus you can no longer earn this achievement. I thank anyone that liked my solution, I am am glad to have helped you guys find a working solution. But, as said the achievement can no longer be unlocked.

It did that last year too. Switching to 3 innings unlocked it for me.

I had to play this twice to get it apparently my sliders made it not count so then I played on pro won 3-2 and it popped. If this is still going and you are trying to get this then turn off any custom settings.

Well, they had the same achievement in 2K10 so repeading that same achievement was ulgy on 2K's part.

Doubt it seeing how you couldnt get the 2k10 all star game achievement this year, I don't think you can get the 2k11 achievement next year. Achievements that need to be played on a certain day suck.

Has anyone tried possibly resetting the clock and/or date on your Xbox 360 console and loading up MLB today, playing the all-star game and then complete the game. Then connect to Xbox Live to see if possibly the achievement might unlock? I assume you can play MLB today off-line right?

Yes wing is correct. It would automatically update itself when you would turn on the game. They chose not to reactivate it this season. I wrote 2K countless emails and was told that it would not be reactivated. If 2K had any scruples they would turn it on one more time for the 2012 All Star Game in July. Much like so many major corporations, they don't give a shit about the consumer.

I'm with others in saying glad they didn't put this stupid achievement in 2K12. Looks as if we won't have to worry about 2K making stupid achievments like this for MLB anymore since their contract is up with MLB. Sucks won't be a baseball game for 2013 though. Hope someone picks up the series soon, as well as improves on it

I played a 9 inning game (that actuall went 11) against my brother and it didn't pop. Played another, this time 3 innings and it didn't pop. Those were both as the NL. Played a 3 inning as the AL, after the game the achievement popped. When in doubt...play AL! Cheers for the solution and Go Braves!

On July 12, 2011 play the MLB All-Star game in MLB today. THIS IS A MUST PLAY AS IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ONE DAY. The MLB Today games come from the 2K server so you need to be connected to the 2K server to download the MLB All-Star game on July 12, 2011. From the main screen select MLB today and play the MLB All-Star game all the way through and the trophy is yours. You do not have to win the game.
