This achievement can be done with minimal effort. Go into roster then go to the phillies. Go to pitches and select Roy Halladay. Edit his pitching stats to 99 all. Before going into a game make sure you have the pitching controlls set to use the face buttons (A,B,X,Y). It will make it easier. Make sure you are in a game that is set to 9 innings. You will only need to use 2 pitches. His sinker and curve ball. I only used those 2 pitches to get this achievement.

The key to getting a no hitter with Roy Halladay is the 1st 2 pitches for strikes. 1st 2 pitches will be sinkers (X) Throw them in the inside top corner of the batter. Then the 3rd strike with his curve ball (B) You will get a strike out in 3 pitches.

Another key to this achievement is to throw all max power pitches. With Roy Halladay this shall be really easy to do. All my pitches were max power pitches.

This achievement is fairly simpler than in previous years. First thing, I have heard that you can adjust sliders and still get it, however, I did NOT do that myself. I just did the following:
1. the team I played with, I adjusted all the attributes to the maximum for all players and for the pitcher I was going to use (obviously the hitting attributes don't really apply to the achievements, but I needed them anyway, for franchise mode). Fpr my pitcher, I just had 3 pitches for him - fastball (105mph), slider (93mph), and knuckleball (90mph).
2. the team I was playing against, I adjusted all their attributes to the minimum for all hitters.
3. set difficulty setting to pro and made sure innings set to 9. Make yourself the home team so you only have to bat 8 times (yeah, every little bit helps to cut down on time).
4. when pitching, ALWAYS bring your outfielders in shallow. I used the knuckleball pitch as my out pitch (i.e. when have 2 strikes on batter). I also pitched low in the strike zone 95% of the time to prevent any blooper from falling in outfield.

I used this method and got it first time, without any trouble at all.

There are a few ways to get this achievement. You can pitch a Perfect game OR No-Hitter. If you do this against the CPU make sure to have the games set on Pro or Highter. Also, make sure that the innings are set to 9.

1: Ranked match boost, you and a buddy can boost this in a ranked match, to match up better boost late at night or change the time zone on your xbox. Best way to do this is just to let your buddy strike out all 27 of his batters.

2: League Boost, you can also get the No-Hitter in a League Note: You need 4 people to start up a League. Have your buddy strike out all 27 of his batters.

3: Pickoff, if you set your Pitcher's pickoff to max and make your oppents batter all speed zero you can walk all your oppents batter's then pick them off on base. Walking hitter dosen't ruin a nohitter.

4: Edit Rosters, just edit all your pitcher states to 100 and make all your oppents batter stats zero and you should have no issue striking out all of your oppents batters.

*In franchise I had auto fielding on and PRO difficulty. I was the away team.

*After the first pitch was thrown to my batter I adjusted the difficulty sliders to give me 100 batting stats and cpu 0 batting stats. I also adjusted pitching, running, and fielding in my favor.

*I played this way until the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs and batter was 0-2.

*I went back to the difficulty sliders and changed it back to PRO. I threw an outside sinker (Fouled) then an outside 12-6 curveball to strike out the batter.

*Achievement unlocked. Since I was the away team and got a hit every inning this also netted me the Mr. Consistency achievement in the same game.

I don't normally make a solution for an achievement with multiple solutions but I tried this method out and it worked perfect and saved A LOT of trouble after failing this about 9 times. Previous guides are great but this was the easiest for me. This may work in other modes but I can only prove it works in franchise. Good Luck!

Not sure if you guys know this but I got this one while playing on rookie. I wasn't even trying, I was just playing to have fun and threw a no-no in a rookie game. To my surprise the achievement unlocked. So try throwing a No-Hitter in rookie difficulty.
