How to unlock the Payback achievement in Major League Baseball 2K11 - Definitive Guide
Edit commentDelete solution
This achievement can only be achieved in My Player Mode. I found this easier after you reach the MLB level so you're not confused by the affiliates if you're not a hardcore fan, plus your attributes will be higher.
Tip 1: Trade yourself in the same league and better - division. If you can do this, you'll run into your old team faster on the schedule.
Tip 2: Play the full series, don't sim the games. Doing this you'll see more pitches and you'll have a better idea of what each pitcher will throw.
Tip 3: Adjust all the sliders in your favour. This should help immensely and as discussed in the game forum on here, changing them will NOT affect achievements.
This is luck in the end, but overall not too difficult.
NOTE: I just want to add: Create a second save file before you do this. If not, you will abandon your team season goal for the year. - Posted by ThisBloodIsTrue
NOTE: Also, another helpful tip is after you finish your first season, if you have made the majors, just see what team your team will play first in Spring Training, and trade yourself there, hit a homerun, achievement will unlock, quit out and load your different save to go back to your other team. - Posted by Blue Blazer

Quick question: at what overall level do you need to be before you can request to be traded?
