How to unlock the Remember Me achievement in Major League Baseball 2K11 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is VERY glitched, and chances are you can play all the games and break all the records you want and it still won't pop.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Start a NEW Franchise. Leave all the settings at DEFAULT, and ONLY change the innings to 3. Pick any team you want. On the next screen when prompted, turn management to "Do Nothing & Turn On Automation". You should now be on the MLB homepage screen. Press the A button over any game shown and select "Simulate to the Start of the Regular Season". Pick "Auto-Manage..." any prompts that pop up. You should get a message welcoming you to the start of the regular season. Find YOUR team's game (Don't play another team's game.) and PLAY your very first regular season game. Once the game starts, you can change the Presentation Settings --> Game Flow ---> Hurry Up to make things go faster.

Playing as the Pitcher, walk the first 18 batters you face by clicking in the Right Stick on your controller. If you lose count, check the Walks (BB) in the Box Score Statistics screen. Once you've walked 18, play out the entire rest of the game as normal. You MUST finish the game.

After the game is over, Select "Quit" and go back to the Franchise screen and the achievement should pop. No need to even play 20 games!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I've tried this method on 3 accounts and it's worked every time, so hopefully it works for you too.

^^^I edited the guide and made it even more step-by-step to avoid any confusion. I just did it again today on a 4th account and it still worked.

Walk 17 Batters in a game with 1 pitcher. The record is currently set at 16, and will this will allow you to get the achievement Just click in on the left analog stick and it will automatically make you walk the batter.

yeah i play on pro and i let 18 BB and i did not get the achievement.
The reason may be that, although in the bottom left corner of the schedule it says that you have played 20+ games (i had 21), you used supersim for part of the game and then went in, or played, then supersimed. This still counts for games played in the bottom corner, but maybe not for the franchise achievments? That is the only thing i can think of.

weird though, that the other 2 cheevos popped with custome sliders and/or playing on rookie - but, I'll heed your advice and try it :)

Well I have tried it also on pro but with supersim and no joy. I DID get the win the world series cheevo doing it this way but not break a record and win an award. BladeMDP has since gotten the cheevo (I can see it on his profile). It would be great if he could tell us what he did. I don't want to have to play 20 full games if I don't have to but....

Didn't work for me. I didn't touch any of the sliders the whole time at all (didn't even go into the area), left it on pro the whole time, and physically played out twenty-one of the games. Luckily I saw all these comments and have made a plethora of save files. When I get around to reloading and stuff I'll let you guys know if it works...

Also, the other two franchise related achievements popped just fine (win a world series and win an award)

I've reloaded saves and tried walking 20 and then super simming - didn't work. I also just tried reloading a save after I had done the 18 walks and simming through the rest of the season and it didn't work either. I'll physically play a game some other time...

I am frustrated with this one. I completed the season with my 20 games played, did the 17 walks in a game, had one pitcher strike out 23 in a game, had a 6 homer game, 18 RBI game, set mlb season records for HR, SB, R, ERA, K, Shutouts, and CG. Nothing.

Walked 30 batters and it gave it to me at the end of the game, i didn't have to play 20 games either, hmm?

So I tried what coronerjackal91 said to do and I walked the first 30 batters of the game, and then I played the rest of the game and it popped after the game was over. It popped after only playing one game of the required 20. I played on Rookie with adjusted sliders and the game length set to 3 innings. I hope this helps. Great tip Jackal!

I did exactly what the two posters before me did, walking 30 batters on the first game of the season (a 3 inning game, no less), played out the rest of the game normally, and got the achievement at the end of the game. Kudos.

The above method works. I had played 20 games in the season already. I changed the innings to 3, walked the first 30 batters and then played the rest of the game. After the game was over, I exited the game and received the achievement.

Leave sliders & difficulty on default settings......Play a 3 inning game & it can be your 1st played game.......Walk 18 batters & achievement unlocked for me. Hope this helps!

I don't think walking 30 batters did anything differently than walking 18 batters. It's a matter of not simming the game I think. I did it halfway through my season 3 innings and got it walking 18

I'm playing a 21st game just to be safe. And walk 18 with my worst pitcher. Don't want to ruin a good pitchers era

it's very glitchy, the same thing happened to me - I had played 20 games, set several franchise "season" records, I got the 2 other franchise achievements to pop (win world series and win award), but this one did not. Fortunately, I had created an extra save for the game after I finished playing my 20 games. I turned around and went to that old save, had a pitcher walk 18 batters, finished game, finished the season, and the achievement still did not pop at end of game (or end of season as well). So, this achievement seems to be very very glitchy.

In previous MLB 2K games, cheevos wouldn't pop if you had custom sliders or if you played on rookie for any of your games. That may be why it didn't pop

Using your maxed team, you should be able to break most if not all MLB season records. The easiest ones to target are shutouts (16) or Homeruns (70). After you played 20 games and finish the regular season, you will have earned most if not all MLB season records and the trophy should appear before the start of the post-season.
