This requires getting three straight strikeouts in a row, in a perfect inning. No hits, no walks, just three straight strikeouts.

Not Obtainable in My Player mode. If you have super-simmed before doing this, or reloaded a saved game, you won't get the achievement. You should get it immediately after the 3rd batter has struck out.

You should use a strikeout pitcher for this. Use a pitcher like Tim Lincecum, Clayton Kershaw, Justing Verlander, or Brandon Morrow; as they tend to have a higher strikeout tendency. You could use Roy Halladay, but he's a Groundball pitcher. He tries to get the ball in play opposed to getting strikeouts.

I did this with Tim Lincecum (I've also done it with Morrow, but after Lincecum).

If you have the Inside Edge available, check the weakness of each batter. You can find the pitch, and location where they make the least contact. Down & Away tends to be the weakest zone for batters.

The simplest combination is Fastball--Fastball--Changeup. I usually wrack up strikeouts using the following combo with Lincecum: Fastball--Fastball--Splitter Change.

If you are really having difficulties, change the CPU batter settings to 0. They shouldn't even make contact with the ball. Customizing settings won't disable achievements.
