Hey Guys,
For those who did 100% in every region and didn't get the achievement, check your map for barriers you did not broke !
I was at 100% everything, and I didn't get the chievo, but realized one of the barrier was still intact in one of the region. went there, broke the grid and the achievement popped

TLDR: make sure all Poi on your map have a checkmark on them, as this count for the 100% completion rate (event if you got all achievement for the individual region)

I had same problem. Than I just opened one of the 3 gates (the ones u need to hit the switch by having enemy in your mouth than tail whipping them into it). And it unlocked.

Had the same problem but i was lucky and still had the 3 gates to open so the achievemnt pop for me after i opened one of the gates.
hope they will be a patch or something for the not so lucky ones.

Same thing has happened to me, completed everything in all area's and still no achievement. I already opened up all of the gates prior to beating the story too so I can't even try that to see if it unlocks! Grrr :(

after 100% (only 2 switchs discovered and one only one opened) my achievement popped when i reach the third switch. When it appeared on the map i got the achievement

I had the same problem i didnt get the achievement and i had 100% completions in all regions and all gates unlocked. But i compared my map with all collectables what i found online and there was one grate I didn't smash so I went and did that and got the achievement. Yay 😁

Opening the gates(barriers) is NOT needed to reach 100% and unlock this achievement. I just got it and did not open any of the gates. I just finished the last quest in the Gulf that opens up after you beat Pete and the achievement unlocked. I am assuming the patch fixed this.

I also have the same problem as sinister...I had everything done went to beat the boss got the chievo for vengeance and gulf but not the full 100%. I did the 3 big gates and everything else is check marked.

Fml....I already had to restart my game because a lisence plate glitched on me. I made it all the way to the gulf that playthrough. Restarted beat it with 100% eveything done and it didnt pop. I have no gates to knock down or open, no collectibles, NOTHING! You're telling me I have to restart this a 3rd time to get this?

This achievement is glitched. The devs already know about it but have no intention of fixing it anytime soon. If you've 100%ed the game and didn't get it, your only option is to redo the entire game.

UPDATE: For those of you, like me, who had actually completed 100% of everything (including the barriers) and not gotten "Queen of the Ocean", the patch from this morning, 25.June.2020, fixed it for me. I booted up the game, hit 'Continue', and as soon as it loaded into the grotto the achievement popped.

Save at least one gate or one collectible till after you are done, I beat everything and no achievement..
Luckily i had 2 gates left and after opening one achievement popped...
I realize that there is a guide explaining this, but i couldn't comment on it...

As El Perplexo stated make sure you open all the gates/barriers, I believe there are three. But my guide is for those of you who are not able to find all the license plates, nutrient caches & landmark collectibles. After I beat the story I found that there were a lot of collectibles to find and even after searching around the different area's I was unable to make them appear UNTIL I stumbled on the idea of using an "Evolution" to help me. So what you do is enter any grotto and press left on the D-Pad {Xbox} to bring up the Evolutions menu then select any Organ icon and then choose "Advanced Sonar", upgrade it to tier 5 and you will see that you get 300% Sonar Radius, this will then increase your search radius every time you press the B Button {Xbox}. Then you just need to search all maps in areas where there is little or no activity and keep pressing the B button {Xbox} to scan the area, it may take a while depending on how many you need but it worked for me and there isn't a quicker method than this. Using this method will also help with the following achievements "Garbage Collector", "Deep Sea Explorer", "Tourist", "Dominating The Bayou", "Tourist Terror", "Dropping Property Values", "Queen Of The Wasteland", "Vacation From Hell", "Ruler Of The Deep" & Entertained To Death". Hope this helps.

I have taken screenshots of all the areas showing all the locations, nutrient caches, and license plates for each area. In addition to the collectibles, you also have to complete all the story missions, side missions, and kill all the targets/ apex predators- everything in the game. I personally did not open the 3 gates between areas, but some people say it is needed. The screenshots were taken after I have completed the game, you can still see all the markers, they are just grayed out and have a checkmark on them. Hopefully it is helpful, below are a few additional tips.

- Many of the collectibles will not be available until you are of Elder of Mega size, you may want to wait or just do some backtracking later.
- When you jump out of the water you can use the lunge ability a few times more to give your shark the extra height needed to reach the really high license plates.
- If you are near a collectible but haven't seen the icon on your map yet, you can use your sonar ability to help locate them. They will become highlighted if you are close enough and this can be very helpful when exploring the deep caverns.
- If you see an icon but can't figure out how to get there, check and see if there are grates nearby you can break that lead to new areas. Many grates lead to underwater tunnels and often contain nutrient caches.

This achievement is known to be glitched. I had to play through the game twice to get it. Apparently if you get all the collectables before finishing the game, it doesn’t register and glitches up the achievement. I learned that the hard way. Still a fun game to play again, even if there is a bug with one of the achievements
