This is the only truly missable achievement in the game . You unlock 21/24 achievements automatically during your 'regular' playthrough, and 2/24 during your 0% playthrough.
You will need to do this during your main playthrough of the game, which will require you to place 7 "god" cubes and sprout their respective trees. After placing the 7th and final god cube (Rainbow) you will see the Rainbow Tree sprout. Make a save (just incase). Now, you will need to back track to the map/mandala room, the location of which is in the above video I made (a visual reference is much easier than a text/descriptive one). It's not a difficult path at all, but due to the infinite symmetric Escher-esque nature of this game it can become disorientating quickly. Enter, select any map to return to a previous level, and you will earn this achievement.
Note: For this achievement you do need to return to the final map room in the game. There is one after every god cube technically, but I believe you need all god cubes to be able to actually be able fast travel between them. If you aren't getting the option to select a level when you find a map room, this is likely why.

In the map room that appears in many locations, it has small models of completed areas and the uncompleted ones are covered in black gunk, simply select one of the clean cubes to be teleported back and unlock the achievement. Unsure if game must be completed first for the teleportation ability to be available.

I haven't yet beat the game, but I've hit (A) on these and nothing has happened. I'd imagine that you need to beat the game first, but will wait for someone else to confirm before I say so definitively!

Once you place the final cube which is the rainbow cube, you need to look around that area to find the models of the areas. It took me awhile to find by falling and searching but I just clicked A on one of them and it worked.

During your normal playthrough, it's pretty likely you will happen upon a map room - an infinitely repeating room with a small model of each level in the center, with completed levels clearly visible and incomplete levels covered in black clouds. Unfortunately, you won't be able to use these map rooms until you've completed all levels in the game, for some reason.
As a result, you will first need to progress through your normal playthrough all the way until you place the final god cube, the rainbow cube, in its spot. As soon as you do, and before you progress to the end of the game, you will need to backtrack to a map room to use it to travel to an earlier level. So, once you place the rainbow cube, make a manual save. Then, follow the video below to return to the nearest map room (describing the path in text would be virtually impossible). Interact with any level in the map room to return to it and unlock this achievement. Once unlocked, you can then reload your save to be back at the rainbow god cube and complete the game.
