How to unlock the Manipulator achievement in Mark of the Ninja: Remastered - Definitive Guide

This can only be done with the noise makers and flares. Your throwing knives do not count as equipment, for some reason. My tracker would only progress using the non lethal distraction items that weren’t knives.

Upgraded noise makers don't progress the counter either. I still had the flare not upgraded and was able to use them.

After the place where you can replenish equipment, throw dynamite and then replenish it

You can do it at a checkpoint: throw a firecracker - load it, throw it - load it. Repeat until received
