How to unlock the Couch King achievement in Marooners - Definitive Guide

Best and quickest way I found to get this was in arena mode with two controllers. Just have the other player throw themselves off a ledge or into a fire to end it quick. If you get one of the arenas where you have to smash blocks, just get the same player to break enough blocks to get a weapon block and blow themselves up.

Quick, easy and painless.

It’s faster just to play with a bot and kill your self as no local achievements for win

^ is it though? Would you have enough gold after winning 50 online, and losing 50 local? Wouldn't you end up having to grind extra gold then anyway? Would it not be more efficient to win them all to get the pot of gold, etc?

Only the Local/Offline games count towards this trophy. The Local/Online do not.

You need at least one other DS4 for this trophy (and the other local MP trophies). You can use a Vita as one of the controllers as well. If playing this legitimately, just make sure you go for as many power-ups, coins, emeralds, and diamonds as you can. You don't have to win any of the games, you just need to start and finish them.

If you are boosting this with a second controller, start up a 2 Player Party Game with the settings set to "LINEAR". Let Player 2 idle as you collect everything you can on each map. When Player 2 dies, you'll move on to the next map. Each minigame will last about 2-3 minutes with this method.

Once you have completed your 50th and final game, the trophy will unlock.

All you need to do is play 50 local matches. You don't need a partner as the game will put random players on the other spots. Once you hit 50 matches the achievement is yours.
