You can do this achievement with either a bot or an extra controller! It seems that they have patched this! You can no longer do it in offline mode sadly :/ However, if you go to online mode, and you have more than one controller it helps get into another game.

There are various mini games I do believe 6 in total but you may only have to play 2 or 3 times before you get to Twin Temple. If you do not want the game to randomly switch to another mini game make sure you put your setting to Linear!

In this game, if you want the little artifact to hold to get points to go for a couple other of grindy achievements go for it just run up to the extra controller character and you will snag the artifact! But be careful because after the diamonds the artifact will catch on fire!!! Just give it back to the extra controller and make your way far away to not be blown up!

If you do use an extra controller for online play, than you can use it as an easy scapegoat. If you spawn with the totem than run over to your other controller and see if you can run around and kill someone else with it. If not just avoid the person with the totem, stay high and see if you can get someone stuck.

Once your extra controller character has blown up or the last person, the pot of gold will appear in the middle of the room, do not forget to grab that or the achievement WILL NOT pop! When you grab wait a few seconds after and you win Twin Temple the achievement will pop!

This is not really a solution, but a way to bring this achievement to unlock, as it is really buggy.

When you're having trouble to unlock this or any other pot of gold achievement, then you can use this solution.

Start the game and just log in with the second profile and make sure that this is the profile what is logged in the game. If not press Y to change the profile. After that start a online game and log your main account on a second controller and play with an extra bot. As strangely this game pops the achievement for both profiles my second account got the achievement and it automatically popped for the main account.

You can do this against a bot by choosing the "Online" game mode in the menu.

Then choose party as game mode and you will load in a game lobby where a bot will be added shortly after.

Most of the times no other human players will enter and you can easily grind this method out until the Twin Temple comes up as a mini game.

My tip for winning a round of Twin Temple and get the pot of gold in the end is by staying away from the relic the entire game. When smoke starts to come out of it the CPU bot will start chasing you but this is easily avoided by utilizing the middle of the map where there is a little ledge where you can jump up and down from. The bot won't follow you here when you jump and will just run around from the lower part to the higher so it's very easy to avoid the bot here. Just be sure to have a good distance when the relic explodes in the end because the pot of gold spawns in just after. Good luck!
