At times you will have side quests available that task you with finding a certain amount of items; like the Handyman's Assistant side quest where you have to find first 6 parts, and then later 5 parts for the mechanic. These are searchable containers that only show up when the side quest is active, and in a few cases, make a previously searched container searchable again. I'm fairly certain all the containers you need to search for side quest parts counts towards this achievement.
I got this early in Chapter 2, just before reaching the third area "Sand" in Shadowlair when you "Escape to the poor neighborhoods" during the main quest "Back Home".

You most likely unlock this at beginning of chapter 2 if you found all in Chapter 1.
Square boxes that have lights on them and little junk piles count as containers. Note: Containers usually glow but not always. Make sure you look everywhere since they contain components that are very useful when upgrading or selling.

Containers little crates/boxes (or containers!) scattered throughout the game that you can open up to find loot that you can then use to craft items and upgrade your weapons and armor. To help your chances of survival you will want to loot as many containers and scrap piles as you can find in the game, and you should have this achievement very early on in Chapter 2.
