The trick to this one is maximizing the number of Revive Tokens you get. You receive one automatically for completing a "wave" of enemies, and you can earn one extra for each Targeted Fusion you successfully complete (get a Gold rating). So, anytime you get enough juice for a Fusion, be sure to use it, even if the enemy is weak. I personally used Thing, Wolverine, Green Goblin, and Juggernaut. The people you use is really up to you and who you are comfortable with, though Things power does ridiculous damage if you spam it up close.

You CAN die during this mission, you just have to have all four people alive when you defeat Carnage. Try to still have one or two revives left when going into the fight with him, though he's fairly weak so it shouldn't be a huge deal if you made it that far.
