It says what it says, "Fight 50 battles online" but since this is Infinite that means no one is playing this game. Unless some bored guy like will accept.

You will need to fight a total of at least 50 matches in any online mode in order to unlock this and the other trophies above it. Whether you win or lose a match and if they come from a player, ranked, or lobby match does not matter at all when going for this trophy, as they will all count towards this trophy either way.
