How to unlock the King of the Hill achievement in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE - Definitive Guide

You can get around this achievement in pretty much the same way that you could boost ranked battles in MVC3.

You and your boosting partner go into your Xbox's settings, you both change your location to some oddball country or location (make sure it is the same one on each console). Restart your Xbox. Now when you search ranked, only search for your region. Sometimes it still takes a bit to find each other, but at least this way, you should only find one another.

This same setup can be combined with many of the other ranked achievements.

How do you do this on PC?

Edit: the servers are completely dead. So dead in fact I struggle to match against myself...

Completely works in 2023, I would just add that one of the two players hit Start then B after 1 min so the search can “reset” and find each other faster. Otherwise takes like 20-30 min

(Online Multiplayer)

In order to unlock this trophy, you will need to win a total of at least thirty matches in ranked match. This will come naturally when going for the "Indestructible", "Power Made Flesh", "Battle Veteran", and "Invincible" trophies in the aforementioned mode.

Thankfully, you do not need to be in a winning streak when going for this trophy, as even if you lose a match or two in ranked after two or more wins, the progress towards this trophy will not reset, and you can still go for it as long as you win the next one. Time overs will also count towards this trophy as long as you have more health with both of your characters combined than the opponent does.
