How to unlock the Living Legend achievement in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE - Definitive Guide

So I'm not going to say this is easy, however on the bright side these Trials / Missions are a whole lot easier this time around than in any other MVC / Street Fighter game, although 100 Trials / Missions can seem daunting, it isn't all that bad. For starters even if you are only able to do 2 for each character, you'll end up with a total of 60/100 which will put you more than half way there, plus as a bonus (should you have the Character-Pass / Season-Pass), the DLC characters do count towards the achievement as well, So continuing with the your slightly garbage but have no fear mentality of doing just 2 for the dlc characters as well, that will now put you at 72/100 plus, should you be able to do the Tutorial Trials / Missions as well they will net you 30 trials. which you should have your achievement by then.

Well for those of you who are still missing some extra Trials / Missions or don't have DLC character or were unable to do the tutorial trials, have no worries here are some (Slightly easy characters) to do at least 5 Trials / Missions with, (RYU, CHUN-LI, FRANK WEST, ARTHUR, CAPTAIN MARVEL, NEMESIS) to name a few.

Overall don't get to worked up and if you are struggling either look at the command moves and write the inputs down and do it that way or simply move on to another character cause after all there are 300 Trials / Missions in the game, 360 With the DLC, have faith in yourself and try your best.

(Note: At it's current roster of character's these are the numbers, i will update this guide when more characters are announced)

I'm working through these, and seeing which characters are viable for the all missions with 5 achievements and the opponant keeps blocking the last move of a combo string. I'm confident that me inputs' timings are identical to the demonstrations, but it is incredibly frustrating. Any thoughts?

There are a total of 330 missions (390 if you have the DLC characters) in the game. The first 30 missions serve as "Tutorial Missions" that teach you about the game, the basics of fighting games, and its unique mechanics; while the remaining 300 missions (or 360 depending if you have the DLC characters or not) serve as character trials, with ten trials for each of the game's thirty characters.

Thankfully, unlike its predecessor, you do not need to complete all of the game's missions in this mode in order to unlock this trophy, as you will need to complete at least 100 (or 30.3%) of them instead. Additionally, if you have any of the game's six DLC characters (Sigma, Black Panther, Monster Hunter, Winter Soldier, Venom, and Black Widow), you can also complete their missions when going for this and the trophies above it. If you are having trouble with any character's missions and want to find tips as to how to complete them, please refer to the mission mode help thread.

30 training tasks in mission mode, those on the very first page also count. You will receive another 50 when you complete all missions with five characters and have 20 missions left to complete. I advise you to go through the missions of X, Haggar, several missions of Thanos, Gamora and Captain America. After completing five characters (I recommend Ultron, Hulk, Nemesis, Ghost Rider and Zero, they are the easiest) it will be fairly easy to knock out these characters before mission 7-8 (Thanos up to 4). If you still experience difficulties or want to get this prize earlier, then don’t worry and just complete 1-2 missions for each character.
