I use Soul Stone, so am unsure whether using the Soul Infinity Storm is okay or not. As this calls in your second character, I would advise against it simply as a precaution
I obtained this almost accidently against a relatively 'easy' opponent in a Ranked Match, but from the description, I assume that any online mode will work meaning that you could boost to obtain this

In order to unlock this trophy, you will need to win a match in any online mode without having to switch our your character with active switch, or call on your partner to assist you during the match. Whether this is earned from a ranked, player, or lobby match does not matter at all as long as the match is completed from start to finish without having either you or the player disconnect or leave during the match.
