How to unlock the That'll Leave a Mark achievement in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM: INFINITE - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to finish a match with a level 3 hyper combo.

In the final round of a match, when your opponent's second character is near death (about 15% health or less), make sure your hyper gauge is at least at 3, then perform your character's level 3 hyper combo to win the match.

You will have to check the command list for your character's specific level 3 hyper, but here are a few of my favourites:
(assuming default controls, facing right)

Captain Marvel: cn_downcn_downleftcn_left+cn_LT
Dante: cn_downcn_downrightcn_right+cn_RT
Dormammu: cn_downcn_downrightcn_right+cn_RT
Firebrand: cn_downcn_down+cn_RT
Ghost Rider: cn_downcn_downleftcn_left+cn_LT
Morrigan: (in air) cn_downcn_downleftcn_left+cn_LT
Thor: cn_downcn_downrightcn_right+cn_RT

(note that cn_LT is the same as cn_X+cn_Y, and cn_RT is cn_A+cn_B)

By doing Frank West's (D,DB,B,RT) you'll get the 60-hit combo too

Firebrand's useless since it only spawns a clone and doesn't really hit the enemy - save yourself some valuable time and avoid Firebrand. I used Dante instead to unlock the achievement.

(Online/Offline)

In Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, hyper combos are the super special moves that use a specified number of bars from your meter depending on the amount it needs. Some level 1 hyper combos in the game include Iron Man's Proton Cannon (+) and Chun-Li's Hoyokusen (+), and some level 3 hyper combos include Ultron's Sentry Legion (+) and Chun-Li's Shichisei Ranka (+) to name a few.

An example of a hyper combo KO

Each of the two trophies require ten finishers from a level 1 hyper combo, and 5 finishers from level 3's, respectively. You will most likely earn both when going for the "Hyped Up" trophy. In addition to this, you can also use easy hyper combo (+) to quickly access one of your character's level 1 hyper combos (which may vary if this is executed while grounded or airborne), you can also activate level 3 hyper combos without having to take up meter by pressing and at the same time during Infinity Storm; both of these methods will still count toward the respective trophies regardless if you choose to do them normally, or with the two aforementioned methods.
