I would highly suggest to only buy 1 health potion from the Leprechaun, otherwise you make it a lot harder for yourself on the puzzle with the graveyard key.
The developer says on steam forums that there are enough rubies in the game, but I found a few more in the last dungeon and you can already spend too much on the health potions before you're able to unlock it. So don't make this harder for yourself, only buy 1 health potion and you are able to get this achievement and still have enough rubies for that specific puzzle.

There are two trees that you'll need to interact with in order to purchase items from the Leprechaun. The first one is just outside of the first temple (by a tree with some glowing wood mushrooms on it). The second one is after you grow the beanstalk to reach the 5th dungeon. The first Leprechaun is missable, but the second one is required for story progression as he sells you the Magical Sword you need to cut the ghost vines with. Before you can talk them, however, you need to pick up the journal page that is just outside of the cave that's across the tree bridge near the first dungeon. Once you chop down the tree with the axe (picked up through natural story progression), the journal entry will be outside the cave in a chest on the right.
You will need to pay 1 Ruby to activate the Leprechaun in each tree, then both of them combined will have a total of 7 items for purchase, all of which will cost you Rubies. The items are as follows:
