How to unlock the Fashionista achievement in Mass Effect 2 - Definitive Guide

This is really easy, all you have to do is go to your private quarters on the ship and alter your outfit, either your armor or off duty outfit. You can also do this when your on the cerberus station, the outfit changer is directly ahead of you when you first get there (after escaping the attack on the other station).

You first oppurtunity to get this achievement is after escaping the Lazarus Station with Jacob and Miranda. Before you go to meet The Illusive Man there is a console that allows you to change your armour. If you want to keep Sheperd looking as he does, simply change the material which is pretty much unnoticable when you are playing. Alternatively change the colour and then change it back. This console is still available after speaking to the Illusive Man for the first time but before leaving for Freedom's Progress. After that you get access to the Normandy where Sheperd can change his appearance from his quarters on the top floor.

This achievement requires you to customize the default N7 armor, to do this go into Shepard's private quarters off the Normandy and beside the bed you will find the armor locker, access it and change any setting that is in the N7 Armour customization, This can range from color's to what armor plates are used. After doing this and saving the changes the achievement will unlock.

One thing to note is that this can be done before you meet the Illusive man the very first time, There is another armor locker behind Miranda.

Once you are at the station with Miranda and Jacob, there is a outfitting station on the way to talk to your new boss. Make any change to your N7 armor, and save it.

If you miss this chance, then once on the Normandy, go to your personal quarters, and there is an outfitting station there. The Captain's Quarters are accessed via the elevator.

You'll actually be able to do this before you get onto the Normandy. After escaping the station, there will be a panel for customizing your armor behind Miranda. Do so there.

If you fail to do so, then once you're on the Normandy, go into your quarters. Turn around from the galactic map and take the elevator up to the top level. This is where your quarters are. Along the left side of the room is the armor locker. Customize your armor here.

You will be able to do this for the first time once you escape from the Cerberus facility. You will be standing in a room with Jacob and Miranda, you will be told to talk to the Illusive Man. As you make your way to the conversation you will pass a customization panel on the wall. Access the panel and change a piece of your armor or clothing. You can also do this at any time from your quarters on the Normandy.

Once you finish the game's intro and find yourself at the Cerberus base, where Miranda tells you that the Phantom wants to talk to you, on the wall you will notice a locker for selecting and customizing armor. Go up to him and change something on yourself: color, pattern or something else.
