How to unlock the The Cure achievement in Mass Effect 2 - Definitive Guide

At almost every chance you get, after completing a mission and having acquired the professor, go and chat with him. After so long, he will talk to you about a personal matter and you will be asked to help out.

The mission is not very hard, and upon completing it you will get the achievement. The cut scene at the end will have a paragon action, so pay attention and get ready to press the left trigger.

Do i need to have a ceratin amount or paragon/renegade to be sucessfull in this mission?

To unlock this trophy you must first recruit Mordin to your team, and complete the Horizon mission.

After you recruit Mordin, talk to him at every opportunity, and he will eventually bring up the topic of going to Tunchunka and helping a former colleague. The mission Mordin: Old Blood will be in your Journal.

This mission is pretty straight forward, and almost all enemies have armor. Since you must take Mordin, any other teammate which benefits taking out armor works well. You will mainly fight Krogan, crab animals, varren, and Vorcha.

For an Insanity playthrough, there is a renegade interrupt which makes a portion of this fight easier. There is also a paragon interrupt at the end, which benefits the story, if you have high enough paragon.

(Missable) Talk to Mordin in between missions. He is on the main level of the ship, in the Tech Lab. Loyalty missions will not be available until after the mission on Horizon is completed.

As it turns out, Mordin’s loyalty mission, like Grunt’s, takes place on Tuchanka. When you arrive, speak with the Chief Scout. He’ll tell you that a salarian was captured by the Blood Pack and give you a truck to travel to Clan Weyrloc’s base. You’ll mostly be fighting through krogan in this base. Krogans are only tough when they get close. Otherwise, wear down their armor from a safe distance and finish them off before they can charge at you. When you get to Maelon, you’ll have to decide what to do with the research data.

After you complete the mission on Horizon, all the characters in your party will ask you to help you with their personal problem. Just talk to the desired character and take the quest; your secretary informs you of all desires to talk to you, so it’s very difficult to miss.

Mordin will ask you to help him with his problem. Go to Tuchanka and complete his quest. The trophy is yours
