How to unlock the The Quarian achievement in Mass Effect 2 - Definitive Guide
This achievement should come normally throughout story progression, To get this achievement it requires you to recruit Tali into your party. You can acquire Tali into your squad by completing her recruitment mission "Dossier: Tali".
During your battle with the Geth Colossus, refuse the help from Kal'Reeger (it will take a Paragon action). If any of your squad dies, go talk to him and refuse his help again. It will bring the squadmate(s) back to life without having to use your Unity/Medi-Gel.
This mission will be available after completing the mission on Horizon. The Illusive Man will give you another three dossiers. Travel to the Far Rim and land on the planet Haestrom. The thing about this planet is that you have to stay in the shadows. If you spend too much time in the sunlight, your shields will quickly be depleted. If you have to be in the sun, then run (hold ). The sun isn’t your only threat though as there are loads of geth to worry about too.
Towards the end of the mission when you find Kal’Reeger, you’ll have a geth colossus to deal with. If that wasn’t enough, it also heals itself when it gets too much damage. Get around to either side of it and take out the rest of the geth as quickly as possible. When it’s alone, use what heavy weapons you have to destroy it before it can heal itself. Once the Colossus is destroyed, enter the next room and speak to Tali.
Story related. If you want more info, continue reading. Otherwise, know that this will unlock through the natural progression of the story.
