The first Armor set you can purchase is the Inferno which is on the Normandy's Store. Thats after you get the prologue completed, also at which point you can return to the citadel to visit the other shops.

cool. Thanks for the reply... I got the KoA armor on my first visit, but couldn't find anywhere to buy the other armors. Off to Palaven I guess!

I had the GameStop preorder armor and the KoA demo armor and this achievement popped, but it wouldn't pop until I actually bought something. Just pointing that out in case anyone else has an issue.

It didn't pop for me until I actually loaded up a store. But at the same time I bought the special gift for your friend in the hospital.

If you buy, you can save and reload after achievement pops to have credits back.

You can get a shop discount when you apply the right upgrade. I am no longer sure where it was obtained but once you have it you can set it at Glyph's terminal.

Yes, There is an upgrade. But I didn't take it since I hardly buy anything in ME3.

Sounds obvious, but if you have enough money (100,000 or 95,000 after applying the discount bonus) save your game, then you can buy two armours from the two stores right next to each other on the Citadel Presidium Commons and get the achievement and reload your save. This lets you buy better things with your money at these stores :)

Just started the game and I have these 3 armors:

- N7 Defender armor (from N7 Warfare Gear pre-order bonus)
- Reckoner Knight armor (from playing Kingdoms of Amalur demo)
- Cerberus Ajax armor (from Alternate Appearance Pack 1 DLC)

I didn't get this achievement the first time you I accessed the Sirta Supplies store at Huerta Memorial Hospital, even though I did get Shopaholic.

Like dijonketchup13 points out, you actually have to buy something (a bunch of flowers will do).

*If you would prefer a Video Guide for this Achievement, then you can watch the video provided below, or choose to read a Text Guide.*

Text Guide:

Your first non-customizable suit of Armor which you can buy is right after the second mission of the game which is "Priority: Mars". Once you're done with all the cutscene's, you can go back to the Normandy and purchase the "Inferno Armor" from the Shuttle Bay via the Normandy Elevator.

Once you complete the third mission of the game which is "Priority: Palaven", you should then go back to the Citadel. Once you're on the Citadel, head to the Elevator which is past two Blue laser-type doors. Then head to the new floor called the "Presidium Commons" where you can purchase the Blood Dragon Armor, Cerberus Armor, Collector's Armor, Inferno Armor, and other accessories. Or head to the "Docks: Holding Area" floor where you can purchase the Terminus Armor from a small store near some Batarians (weird looking Aliens with many eyes). When on the Citadel, all of the Armor Sets will cost 50,000 credits each. But the Inferno Armor will cost 55,000 if you buy it from the Normandy's store in the Shuttle Bay.

Note: You can also unlock this Achievement if you have pre-ordered the game from Gamestop or EBgames where you'll unlock the special N7 Defender Armor. Also, if you have played the "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" Demo, then you should unlock the Reckoner Night Armor which will count towards the Achievement. Most people viewing this Guide now, will realize that they cannot get the Reckoner Night Armor anymore because the official game itself, is released. You could only unlock that armor before the official game release.

Hope this helps! Thank you.

I don't know if that last statement is true, I played the demo after the game came out (downloaded it a while ago but was not home) and I got the armour still. It was about a month ago, but I am not sure if you can still get it now.

I have tried on my other two accounts, and I could no longer unlock the "Reckoner Night Armour". Maybe it is different for people in different countries, or different areas of different countries.. not too sure.

But when I bought my new copy of Mass Effect 3 at Bestbuy (In Canada, because that's where I live), it came with a card which said that you can unlock a special type of Armor for a limited time only. I'm guessing that same card came with your game if you bought it new. If I can remember, you could only unlock the special Gun and the Reckoner Night Armour for another 11 days after the official game release date.

This is pretty easy to get. The earliest in the game you can get it is after Priority: Palaven, unless you preordered the game. If you did, once you are able to explore the ship, check your private terminal. Then buy the second one in the Shuttle Bay store.

Armors can be found in the shops throughout the Citadel. There are five armors that you can buy in game, but getting any two will pop the trophy.

The Blood Dragon Armor is found at Kanala Exports on the Presidium Commons.

The Cerberus Armor is found at Elkoss Combine Arsenal Supplies on the Presidium Commons.

The Collector Armor is found at Nos Astra Sporting Goods on the Presidium Commons.

The Inferno Armor is found at Kassa Fabrication on the Presidium Commons.

The Terminus Armor can be found at Batarian State Arms at Docks: Holding Area.

The preorder armors are N7 Defenders Armor and Reckoner Knight Armor.

*There are three other armors (you can only choose one of them for your game) that was released in the Citadel DLC. I do not know if it works in popping the trophy.

Most of the armor that you’ll find are pieces that can be combined together. There are several suits of armor that are a set and can’t be altered at all. Below, you’ll find a list of the non-customizable armors. You can also buy them on the Normandy, but each armor will have a 10% increase in price.
  • Inferno Armor – Kassa Fabrication, Presidium Commons, Citadel (50,000 credits)
  • Collector Armor – Nos Astra Sporting Goods, Presidium Commons, Citadel (50,000 credits)
  • Blood Dragon Armor – Kanala Exports, Presidium Commons, Citadel (50,000 credits)
  • Cerberus Armor – Elkoss Combine Arsenal Supplies, Presidium Commons, Citadel (50,000 credits)
  • Terminus armor – Batarian State Arms, Docks: Holding Area, Citadel (50,000 credits)

You need to buy 2 suits of armor (each costing 50,000 in different Citadel stores), or supplement that with two other promotional bonus armors. These cannot be upgraded or or interchanged with each other. You can buy them and reload your checkpoint if you want just to get the achievement. The following sets all count toward the achievement:

  • Reckoner Knight Armor (Kingdoms of Amalur demo bonus)
  • N7 Defender Armor (Gamestop pre-order bonus)
  • Blood Dragon Armor (Hanar Store)
  • Inferno Armor (Kassa Fabrications)
  • Collector Armor (Nos Astra Sporting Goods)
  • Terminus Assault Armor (Batarian State Arms)
  • Cerberus Armor (Elkoss Combine Arsenal Supplies)

After you have visited these stores from the Citadel, you may get to them anytime from the Normandy. There is an armory in the Shuttle Bay which when accessed, has a list of stores and the stuff you can buy from them.

If you preordered at Gamestop, you will have access to the Defender Armor as a preorder bonus. Playing the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo before March 17 also gets you a non-customizable armor with the Reckoner Knight. If you have either or both, making a purchase from a store or getting one an upgrade from Liara will make those armors count towards the trophy.

You can buy a supply of penicillin a couple of times, or some kind of armor, Terminus Armor, Collectors, Dragon, at your discretion, as soon as two items are purchased, be it penicillin and armor, or two sets of armor, the trophy will open.

It won’t work with panacelin, I tried it myself, but buying armor will help.

Can be easily done without cost, since armor is not cheap. In the Presidium Community on the Citadel there are 2 shops on the left side. We save ourselves in front of them. In one we buy Dragon armor, in the other Cerberus armor. When the trophy drops, load the save you made.

If you have installed the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo using your Origin Account, you will have access to the Avenger Knight armor designed by Todd McFarlane. After completing this demo, the Chakra Launcher weapon will become available to you.
