Bringer of War

Bringer of War

Chase down an assassin.

How to unlock the Bringer of War achievement in Mass Effect 3 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is story based and will be awarded after the mission on Mars.

Without giving any spoilers out, you must chase the assassin through a series of cover based jumps and ladder climbs. Try to stay close to avoid being in a fire fight, because the assassin will always recover her shield faster than you can bring it down. At the end of the level just go for head shots to end the level quickly and end the level.

This achievement is unmissable. It ends the first post-Earth mission of the game

This scene is all about the chase. Stay close and pepper the enemy with shots if you want, but keep moving for the quickest finish. The enemy can not be brought down. Keep chasing until the cut scene allows you to finish the mission in Super-Angry-Slow-Motion-Shepherd mode and the achievement unlocks moments later.

Mission – Priority: Mars
Acquisition - Automatic after leaving Earth.

At the end of the Mars mission, you’ll have to chase down a Cerberus agent. Even on Insanity, you shouldn’t take too much damage. Keep up by holding to sprint almost the entire time. When the shuttles appear, the chase is over.

Insanity Tips:

  • Safely back away when grenades appear.
  • With the guardians, pick them off with the sniper rifle when they appear. If you don’t have a sniper rifle, use Ashley’s or Concussive Shot or Liara's Singularity.
