How to unlock the Talon achievement in Mass Effect 3 - Definitive Guide

This is an unmissable achievement.

During the storyline after some some fighting you will see a cut scene involving the Talon Leader and some Cerberus troops, after a short talk with him/her you'll take control of your character again. The achievement will pop then when you have control.

There isn't much else I can say about the achievement, it's the first achievement you'll have the chance to get and that it is story related.

I'mt trying to keep spoilers out and useful info in so sorry if I can't tell you more.

What triggers the DLC? I've looked at the Galaxy Map, and I've been back to Purgatory to talk to Aria, but nothing happens out of the ordinary.

Go to the Citadel and the will be a new dock for you to dock at. You have an email in game saying where :).

FYI, this questline initiated with a second email from Aria to meet her in Purgatory. After talking to her (the core game faction stuff) and completing some but not all of the associated quests, I returned to the Normandy and got another email, titled "It's time". I then returned to the Citadel, got a new docking option, and went through some cutscenes with Aria.

This achievement is story-related and cannot be missed.

You will unlock it after reaching Talon HQ for the first time and watching the scene there.

Story related. If you want more info, continue reading. Otherwise, know that this will unlock through the natural progression of the story.

This will unlock on the way to Talon HQ. After fighting through all of the Cerberus troops and after hacking all three of the terminals needed for Meticulous, there will be a door that you will need to do a bypass on. During a cutscene, you'll meet the Talon leader.
