How to unlock the Enlisted achievement in Mass Effect 3 - Definitive Guide

First achievement you'll get when you jump into single player. Either import your old save file from Mass Effect 1 and 2 or create a new character. The key thing that you need to do is customize your character in some way. If you do not want to make changes for your character for single player just create a multiplayer character and it should pop. Watch some cool cutscenes then the achievement is yours. Get ready for an epic journey.

Also if you wanna jump into Multiplayer first you can create a character from the 6 choices listed.

I imported my ME2 character, customized it but... didn't pop! :-( Maybe you should start with a new one and THEN customize it... Can someone confirm?

Sorry I answer just now. I then discovered why those times didn't work: I didn't wait for the (long) intro to finish. The achievement is unlocked as soon as you can control Shepard for the escape... silly me. I was expecting the chevy to pop after the import or customization. :-P Thanks!

When you start a new game, you will have three options: Action, Role Playing and Story. Do Not choose Action, it use default setting and won't get you the achievement.

This is one of those achvs where a "solution" shouldn't really be necessary, but since someone was already a douche about it and voted negative, I will comment and vote positive.

I got this one after importing, but I think the key may be the "customize a character" phrase. If you import and use the default face, I don't think it counts, as it is NOT a "custom" character. Since that is about the only choice you really make with an import, it seems that might be the hiccup.

...the other way to get this achv is even easier, as you simply have to select a character in the mp side. Choose class/ race, pick a name, and spend your points on abilities, and the achv should pop right away.

Might want to edit that you need to edit your look unless it turns out the achv just didn't unlock for people who got "early" copies and played it offline.

The only thing you need to change is you have to select CUSTOM APPEARANCE and change something from the defaults. Then in Single Player you will pop the achievement when you first take control of your character.

If you use the default character in single-player, you will not get this achievement. If you use a customized one, you will at the start of the mission (when you can actually walk around). If you start up a multiplayer, you will be given the option to customize a character as well. This is an easy achievement and very well may be the first. If you wish to use default, then you can also start a random game just for the achievement then erase it.

There are two methods to obtaining this trophy. Both are listed below.

Single player: Create a new character and choose to customize Shepard's appearance over using the default choice. Once you have customized your character’s appearance and start up a new game, this will unlock.

Multiplayer: Start up the multiplayer mode, choose a class, and enter your character’s name. Once you are at the next screen to enter a match, this will unlock.

You need to change your character at the start of the game, or simply enter a group game and create a character.

The trophy will pop up after you take control of the character after watching all the videos at the beginning of the game.

We transfer the character from ME2 and achieve yours. Or at the beginning of a new game we change the appearance of the character, start playing, and now he has achieved)
