High Performance

Unlock Rank 6 for each single-player profile type, or obtain a Level 6 multiplayer bonus stat.

How to unlock the High Performance achievement in Mass Effect: Andromeda - Definitive Guide

You can get this achievement in the single player campaign by resetting your character skills in the Med Bay on Tempest. You need:
- at least 234 skill points available for your character (LVL 46);
- 11 000 credits - if you used Respec Station before, you will need more money because price gets higher every time (20, 520, 1020, 1520, 2020, 2520, 3020 credits etc.). If you don't have money, you can do manual save and then reload after each profile has been fully unlocked (credit to Greenshell48 & MrkDhn10).

Go to the Med Bay on Tempest (lower level). When you are in the Med Bay, turn left. You will find there Respec Station, choose Ryder. Advance one profile to level 6 by spending points in the required skill tree (Combat, Tech, Biotics). When you are done, reset your character again and do another profile. Repeat this process until you had all 7 profiles maxed at least once.

Profiles - spent skill points required for LVL6:
- Soldier - 232 skill points in Combat
- Engineer - 232 skill points in Tech (you need to have the Remnant VI power unlocked)
- Adept - 232 skill points in Biotics
- Sentinel - 116 skill points in Tech and 116 skill points in Biotics
- Vanguard - 116 skill points in Combat and 116 skill points in Biotics
- Infiltrator - 116 skill points in Combat and 116 skill points in Tech
- Explorer - 78 skill points in Combat, 78 skill points in Biotics and 78 skill points in Tech.

Might be worth noting that you need to have the Remnant VII unlocked (from PeeBee's sidequest) in order to get 232 points in the Tech tree. You'll come up a few points short without it.

Can i just add, if you need money (like I did) and your planning on reloading your initial save to get all your money back, a quick way to get a decent bit of cash is to sell all your resources at the shop screen before going down to the medbay

I have done this 2X now and it has not popped. I am a level 50 doing it.

Do we need to equip the profile and then respect after you select the level 6 profile?

Same here. Didn't work for me but I did not equip the profiles after I reached level 6 w/ each. I am 46 so the points are not an issue. Cash isn't an issue either.

+1 for Greenshell48s above comment. Manual save then reload after each profile has been accomplished. No need to equip for it to unlock. 20 credits only required.

I had to do this twice and the second time I noticed a little noise after each time I respeced and reached rank 6. Almost like it confirmed that I did it or reached rank 6. I did not notice that the first time through. Might be something might not be.

Update: worked now, but only after having all the mixed profiles at level 6 at the same time. After that, simply respec to have soldier, adept and engineer at level 6 (one by one) and the achievement popped.

I just hit level 46 and managed to do it, also it might be good to add to make a manual save before spending all your credits doing this. That way you can just load it back up after you're done and you'll have them all back.

Hey I just did this and you can pretty much get the achievement at no cost as long as you have enough credits for one point respec and enough ability points. I saved in the med bay and then refunded my points. After applying the points to get rank 6 in a profile, I reloaded the save and moved on to the next profile. I don't think you need to equip each profile because the achievement popped before I could equip the last profile. After I was done I was able to load the save before spending the credits and move on.

I realize this game is four years old, but did something change? I have followed this procedure four times and still have not received this achievement. I even selected each profile after I unlocked rank 6.

EDIT 2021/06/16: I left it alone for two days then went back and respec'd again, putting all of my points into the soldier profile. The achievement popped as soon as I exited the Skills screen.

This is the way to unlock using Multiplayer.

Look to the other guides if you are interested in the single player way to unlock this achievement (honestly single player method looks way easier).

Here is the guide:

Use characters that earn experience toward the same stat and level the bonus stat to Level 6. Health Regeneration Cap and Max Shields have the most characters to play. Health & Shield Regeneration Delay Reduction has no Ultra Rare Characters to play. But the best Platinum Bonus Stat group is Health Regeneration Gap because it has Human Juggernaut, Human Artificer, Human Infiltrator and Asari Adept which are all Platinum viable.

If you search for a quick match you might be able to drop into a game that has already started which means it will finish sooner and XP is gained faster.

Attaining a Level 1 Bonus Stat requires leveling one character to Level 20. A Level 2 Bonus Stat requires the amount of XP to level 2 more characters to Level 20. I estimate that to gain a Level 6 Bonus Stat you will have to gain enough XP for 21 characters to reach level 20. Resetting characters is not necessary because XP is still gained toward the Bonus Stat when the character is at level 20.

More experience is awarded the higher difficulty of the match where Gold (or Platinum now available) has the highest XP earned per match.

Use the Apex Missions with Experience Point bonuses to help with the grind.

See your Bonus Stat progress:

Connect to the EA Servers and enter the Multiplayer menu. Enter sub menu Prestige and choose the menu item Bonus Stats. This is where the bonus stats are located.

See a character's Bonus Stat:

In the Multiplayer menu, select Change Character and while a character is highlighted the bonus stat should be visible in the bottom right corner of the screen.

List of Bonus Stats:

All Power Recharge Speeds
Health Regeneration Cap
Max Health
Max Shields
Health & Shield Regeneration Delay Reduction

"Experience points gained in a match get applied to the current character and its bonus stat." -- from the Bonus Stats menu

Level Requirements (Reach the XP amount):

Level 1: 2,127,000 - Reward: (+1.0%)
Level 2: 6,381,000 - Reward: (+2.0%)
Level 3: 12,762,000 - Reward: (+3.0%)
Level 4: 21,270,000 - Reward: (+4.0%)
Level 5: 31,905,000 - Reward: (+5.0%)
Level 6: 44,667,000 - Reward: (+6.0%)
Level 7: 59,556,000 - And it keeps going!

Playing with the following characters will work toward the noted bonus stat:

All Power Recharge Speed - 8 to level
Human Engineer - Common Class
Krogan Mercenary - Rare Class
Angara Insurgent - Rare Class
Asari Huntress - Rare Class
Angara Avenger - Ultra Rare Class
Angara Exemplar - Ultra Rare Class

Human Sentinel - Common Class
Asari Sentinel - Uncommon Class

Even when your character is maxed out at level 20, the experience points gained in a match will get applied to the bonus stat of the current character.

To get this in single player, you have to get each profile type to rank 6 once. When you reset your stats, the profile will also reset. I don't think it is possible to get this done on all profiles at once as you would need a very large amount of skill points.

On the Tempest ship in the medbay is the respec option. You need to use this to reset your skill points. I did it at level 54, but I have read you can do it from level 47.

Unless you plan to respec anyway, I would recommend making a manual save before going for this so you can revert back. Not only do you have to rebuild with your preferred specs, but you also spend credits for each respec and it gets a little more expensive each time. Note, the game makes an auto save after each respec so don't expect to roll back to an old auto save as it will probably be overwritten.

Basically you need to max out each of the 3 Skill trees. Then get around half Combat and half Biotics. half Combat and half Tech. Around half Biotics and half Tech. Then evenly spend points in all 3.

If you pause and go into Profiles, looking at each one gives you the required skill points needed spent and where to get to the next rank. You could spent the exact amount each one needs and the respec, or use the video that I followed to save having to go into the profile menu each time to verify the requirements

For this achievement, you will need a total of 234 total skill points to max out each profile type in single player. You'll also need about 10k in credits to keep resetting your skill points, or you can simply save and reload between each one - the progress toward the achievement is saved to your profile each time. Simply pump all your points into one type (combat, tech, or biotic) to satisfy the Soldier, Engineer, and Adept profiles. Then, you'll need to split the points and do 117 points in each of the Combat and Tech trees for Infiltrator, 117 in each of Combat and Biotic for Vanguard, and 117 in each of Biotic and Tech for Sentinel. For the last profile, you'll need 78 points in each of the three skill trees to max out Explorer. You will need to get to Level 47 to get this many skill points.

The MP route will take a long, long time. You will need to amass millions of experience before you unlock a level 6 bonus stat. Unless you really enjoy the MP (it'll take dozens of hours), definitely go for the SP method.

You can earn this trophy in single player or multiplayer.

It is recommended to earn this trophy in single player, as the requirements for multiplayer are a huge grind. You will need to invest a multitude of hours into the multiplayer to get a bonus stat to level 6.

In Single Player:

You need to unlock Rank 6 for all 7 profiles that you get access to. The 7 Profiles are:

1. Soldier
2. Engineer
3. Adept
4. Sentinel
5. Vanguard
6. Infiltrator
7. Explorer

By putting more skill points into the Combat, Biotic, and Tech Skill trees, you will unlock higher rank profiles. Start by acquiring a total of 232 skill points. Now invest all 232 skill points in the Combat skill tree. Then Respec at the Respec Terminal on the Tempest.

How to Respec in Mass Effect Andromeda:

Then invest all 232 skill points in the Biotic skill tree, and then respec again. Now invest all 232 in the Tech skill tree. FInally respec one more time and this time invest your 232 skills points by distributing them evenly to all 3 Skill trees (Combat, Biotic, and Tech). This should unlock the trophy.

If you are low or run out of credits, use the infinite credits exploit to make as much as you'd like.

Infinite Credits Exploit (200000-300000 credits/min):

Infinite Credits Exploit Version #2 (Faster Method):

Thanks to anonime395 from YouTube for providing the tip to buying Titanium from Thrasia till you have 2000-4000 units, and then selling/buying over and over again!

Update: As of Patch 1.08, this exploit has been nerfed and will not produce the same result. So do not update to the new patch until you have all the credits you want.

In Multiplayer:
You need to get one bonus stat to level 6. You unlock Bonus stats by earning experience over time. There are 5 bonus stats:

1. Max Health
2. Max Regeneration Cap
3. Max Shields
4. Power Recharge Speed
5. Regeneration Delay Reduction

You can check your progress by going into the Prestige menu in the multiplayer menu, and checking under Bonus Stats. You need an absurd amount of experience to get these bonus stats to level 6 and some stats are tied to specific characters you use in multiplayer. It's extremely time consuming and is recommended to be done in single player instead.

If in a single game, then we accumulate 234 pumping points, preferably at the same time we get one of the 6th rank profiles. Next, we reset the points in the corresponding compartment of the ship and upgrade another profile. Same with everyone. It will come out to approximately 11,000 credits.

You can leave the trophy for the very end.
We just go up and drain all the inventory on the trading terminal, I personally ended up with 48.5 thousand However, you can also save before distribution and then load.

IMPORTANT: in order to pump up the 6th level of a technician, you will need a relic drone, which opens in Pibi’s personal quest (for platinum, all team quests must be completed in any case). If you, like me, crap on the first playthrough, and then quickly ran through the story on the second, which is why I didn’t have the aforementioned drone, load the last save from the first playthrough and just download it there. The trophy does not have to be fought in the same playthrough.

If you don’t have 11,000 credits, you can do it through downloading. Save before honey. compartment, reset points, pump up the necessary skills and get rank 6, then load up, reset points, pump up other skills and get rank 6, etc.

Just as an addition, if you are not playing for the plot, but are making maximum progress, these are tasks of a different nature and research, then it will definitely be completed. My lvl at the end of the story was lvl 67, 371 skill points. Although in theory it is possible to reach 80+. Perhaps the experience depends on the level of difficulty. Therefore, you don’t need to complete the trophy right away. At the end of the game it will drop out by itself. Just a couple of minutes of mulliganing in the medical estek skills and that’s it.

A small captain's addition to the tips above for those who, like me, didn't catch up a little. To open all seven profiles, you will need to level up the hero to level 46, which will give you the coveted 234 points. In addition, to unlock each level 6 profile, you need to distribute points under skills in a certain way. Like this:

  • Soldier - 232 points in "Combat"
  • Engineer - 232 points in "Technology"
  • Adept - 232 points in Biotics
  • Guardian - 116 points in "Technique" and 116 points in "Biotics"
  • Stormtrooper - 116 points in “Combat” and 116 points in “Biotics”
  • Scout - 116 points in “Combat” and 116 points in “Technique”
  • Researcher - 78 points in "Combat", 78 points in "Biotics" and 78 points in "Technique"

To obtain it in a single game, we pump up one of the profiles, pumping up the skills of Combat, Biotics or Technique. You can reset your skills on the Tempest in the medical bay. To complete the achievement, you need 232 free skill points (~40 lvl). In order not to lose money for resetting abilities, after receiving the achievement we roll back the save to the moment before pumping (It is advisable to create a manual save before this). This way we get the achievement and don’t spend credits.
